Yeah real classy, he's still bellyaching about not making it to the BCS NC game in 07 DESPITE not being able to even win his division, much less an SEC Championship. I used to have a lot of respect for him but the way he b!tched & moaned in 07' was ridiculous. Then what happens last year? Sure he gets his team to #1, for about a week-MYTH DISPELLED! Little man's mouth is bigger than his backup ability.

First of all, as has been already stated, that is not what he said.
And secondly, it is not even remotely a true statement. LSU was favored in all of the first 4 games. So them being 4-0 is not at all surprising.

Miles should run a toss sweep with Chuck the Truck right at Richt on the sideline......only after we are up 34-17. Just roll Richt right back to the benches. How you like them boudin balls?

I know a lot of college football fans who don't have a lot of respect for UGA either. Post Herschel Walker they were largely irrelevant in the SEC for almost 20 years. To their credit they did string together a few nice seasons under Richt, but by and large they have failed to live up to expectations (much like Texas has done). They were the media darling and consensus #1 going into last season and they faltered badly, plus they whined about being left out of the BCSNCG 2 years ago after failing to even win their own division, much less the conference. Richt likes to portray himself as a devout Christian and a father figure to his players, but there have been plenty of times when he's behaved like a classless prick. He has the same smug arrogant demeanor as Urban Meyer, but without the hardware to back it up.

Even if he said the scariest thing about LSU is that they are undefeated that means that nothing scares him about any of the players or coaches on LSU's team, merely something that has no bearing on the game, the team's record.

See...people keep saying this over and over, but I have seen very little proof that Mark Richt is a "classy" guy. He goes around with a smirk on his face, has his players wear black, jump on the other teams logo...exactly what has he done that was so "classy"?
