They will have a coach in hand before getting rid of Miles. Not going to let him go then start searching...
Ha, you really believe this. That is the problem...

he next day, LSU hired Keven Steele. The best it could do.
I don't know if that was the best we could do, I think that was the best Miles could do. Not one in the same!
Please explain this and what you mean. I think this might be delusional on your part. If not, then its...just stupid.
Please explain your point here.

I didn't read all that shite because once you started talking about why those DC's didn't come here, I knew right away you have no clue what you are talking about. Those DC's did not come to LSU because of fricking JOB SECURITY. What is happening right now was bound to happen sooner or later and those guys knew it.
That's exactly when I stopped. I knew right them and there that he was just full or shite.

At this point I am indifferent about what will happen. If he is fired they better have Jimbo in the bag, because if they do it and we don't get him then this post is correct IMO. This is a bad year for a coaching search and Alleva knows this. A bad hire and he will be out the door not long behind Les.

As a Razorback fan I've been through this, twice the last few years. The O.P. makes a decent point. But I would think LSU will bring in someone who's capable of winning more than Miles has the last 4 years, even if it's someone the caliber of Beliema. FWIW, I would rather you keep Miles b/c he's a coach we can beat. If you bring in anyone else, and I don't care who it is right now, I would be more concerned about playing you the next several years.

In the event you're not trolling, I felt the same way, but looking at multiple other scenarios I don't see how any other route is possible.
It's pretty obvious Les was going to retire next season after Fournette's junior season (If anything, think back on Chavis' want for security.). Even if we fire Cam, Peveto, and Steele (which would need to happen), no one is going to pack their things and move to BR for one season.
I'm sad and think Les deserved a better ending than this, but he dug his own grave hiring 3 awful coaches to oversee all 3 phases of the game.

A large majority of the posters laughing at the OP were here 3 weeks ago saying that This LSU team was better than Alabama, that it would beat Alabama that Fournette had already won the Trophy. All the while the tigers were giving up 20 points a game to cupcakes.
These people read each others posts, and depending on the majority up vote, or down vote, come to conclusions. It's a pile on mentality. And while I believed for a time that these message boards don't have an affect on whether a coach is fired or not, I think it goes into the equation.
I think Les has earned 1 more year, but from what I read, because they forced his hand, he has offered the powers that be a compromise, that he is willing to retire at the end of next season. If that is true, then the damage has already begun with recruiting.
If he is fired, believe what you will, this team will take a hit, worse than if he coaches next year. The only question is if it will be short term or long term, like many other teams have endured.

I'd rather us be 6-6 maximizing our talent. Than one of the most talented teams in the country vastly underachieving!!!!

I actually agree this is more likely than the opposite.
I don't think people fully comprehend the downside risk of this move. They will once it happens.

It seems pretty obvious that they have reached an agreement with Jimbo and its just a matter of parting ways with Miles at this point.

I didn't just mark your words. I printed a copy to bring to the super secret board meeting, threw it on Joe's desk, and said "What the frick are we supposed to do now?"
