Mark Emmert & Saban need to be appointed to address and recommend fixes to college sports.

He's the Fmr Chancellor of LSU, Fmr President of University of Washington, and Fmr. President of the NCAA.
I think he and Saban should work together, and propose ideas on how to fix what is broken with college sports today, particularly in college football. They both worked together at LSU. Emmert was responsible for hiring Saban and bringing him to LSU.
It's a proven fact that NCAA President Charlie Baker, and Conference Commissioners like Greg Sankey have no clue, or the cojones to address and fix the issues facing college sports.

So you are going to sit here and complain about how the NCAA has ruined college football but you want to appoint the guy who used to run the NCAA as the person to fix it?

Loved Emmert at LSU, but he was a pretty horrific NCAA president and put in motion a lot of the crap we see today on his way out.

Are you taking about the same Mark Emmert who watched this train coming down the track and did little to nothing to proactively address it, instead just continuing to maintain the farce that major college football and basketball were "amateur sports" as it was becoming clearer and clearer that was a losing battle?

How exactly did they ruin it? Who else do you trust to fix the system? Ted Cruz and Congress? Give me a break. LSU is spending $40-$50 million on football alone this season. It's not sustainable long term. How quickly before it reaches $100 million per year, if it isn't fixed.
Those two are very respected and their thoughts and ideas should be valued.

Who do you think ruined college football and why?

I have no clue. I’ve never spoken to any of these people and don’t know what their plans would be. I don’t think you can just assign a person to “fix” college athletics. You would need a complete overhaul that would likely end up with a new sports league and players becoming employees.

It’s all 3rd party money that you can’t cap. That’s what started NIL in the first place. Boosters are going to spend however much they want and there’s nothing you can really do about it.

Federal and state courts issuing preliminary injunctions against the NCAA enforcing its rules.
Just like what is happening now in a Baton Rouge courtroom.

This ^^^. How quickly people forget his tenure as President of the NCAA.

Emmert is a creature that will mold himself to whatever environment he is in, yes good at LSU because LSU. Horrible at the NCAA.
