just tired of watching this tournament without a horse in the race. It's sadly the norm. Since 2000 how many times has LSU made it? 5? I'm jealous of programs like Witchita and Iowa who compete in the tournament every year. Yeah they were one and dones but that's better than purgatory.

Buddy Hield once again put his team on his back in the second half and refused to lose. That's what the best player in the country does, not defer to teammates when the game gets tight.

Jones is the rare coach that doesn't do a single thing well. He has recruiting to fall back on a bit but he surely ruined it after the shite show this year.

He can't run a proper offense or defense. His team's aren't disciplined and can't shoot free throws worth a damn. He doesn't use his time outs properly. He doesn't utilize his assistant coaches at all. He quits on his team when they get down in games and they in turn quit on him. He doesn't even use all of the capable players sitting on their arse on the bench which turns into fatigued starters as the season goes along.

Sucks man. No one wanting to be serious about basketball would even hire this guy as an assistant and he's the head coach of a power 5 school. What a joke

Anytime you feel a switch in momentum and the other team on the verge of going on a run you call a timeout. It's just common sense. Johnny is always two or three possessions late on his timeouts. I can't count the number of times the other team would go on a 10-0 run against us in less than two minutes. Not to mention, we always would roll into the half or finish the game with an extra TO or two. Just unacceptable... But now the more that I think about it, it's not like Johnny is going to do any coaching in the huddle anyway

I am no bb guru so I am not going to tell you what was wrong. But I can say we had a lot of talent and should have made the tournament.

Point is you don't need to know why we suck. We just do. Always the coaches fault. Always!!!

LSU has never had a good coach in my lifetime.

Because you would have to fire the current coach and apparently we are in a "no-firing and paying buyouts" phase in the athletic department due to the just finished football coach fiasco and the perception it may cause during the state budget crisis in paying buyouts even though not a dime comes from the state. It just "looks bad".
