It obviously pains me we are not in it. But we also thought we were "so talented", and we may have been, but it's not close to being all about talent. Obviously it is the tourney so people play harder, but besides the UK and 3/4 of OU game, LSU doesn't come close to playing this hard.

It's a culture thing, and I don't see this changing with Johnny (that is obvious). It also won't change until the athletic department decides to pay a coach more than bottom-tier SEC money. It also begs the question...is it that hard to get your kids to compete and try? I think I saw people dive on the ground like 4 times all season. There are players laying their bodies on the line every play in these games. Maybe...just MAYBE if we played with that intensity we could win some more games. You can be a bad X's and O's coach (some of the offense in this tournament is atrocious), but you can teach your players to be tough.

I don't know guys, I'm a little tipsy, I'm looking back at this terrible season, and I'm just wondering why we can't even try half the time. You have to get your kids to TRY. Just somewhat depressed

Agreed Texas atm has a ton of height on the court which helps their defense and rebounding. We have no quality depth, Jones doesn't believe in defense and he also is a BAD COACH!!

Of all the games I've watched I haven't seen a player on the court who is even as close to as awkward and ineffective than LSU's worst scholarship player that shall go unnamed. You can't put guys out there who are out of depth.

This. Is. Why. His. arse. Needs. To. Be. Fired.

Even in wins, I am sitting in the PMAC watching them let sorry arse teams go on 10-0 runs to cut 15 point leads to 5.

That's why I was shitting on them with a 9-3 record in the league.

How about walkup. Good lord that dude was ballin tonight. Hit free throws, three pointers, rebounded, hit jump shots, passed the ball. Wish we had a player like that.

Maybe if Jones didn't stand there with the 1000 yard stare and pulling his pants out of his arse crack every 5 mins, he could actually call a timeout/ command some respect from the players.

It's clear as day some of the players don't respect him. They ignore him because they know he's not gonna do shite to them.

SFA is so well-coached. There was a WVU missed FT and Walkup and another guy boxed Williams out perfectly for the guard to come in and snag the rebound.

We'd have three guys say "frick boxing out" and all go for the rebound.

Watched Wichita State dominate a bigger, stronger, and probably more talented Zona team last night on sheer hustle and determination. That team would stomp a big schitty mudhole in our team going head to head......its a shame.

Or box out, let the ball hit the floor, and TQ and every other player leak out for an easy bucket and the opponent gets an easy layup.

It's fascinating people can throw 6'4 PF's out there and be successful. Oh yea, that's because the players have heart, determination, and coaching that puts them in position to be successful.

Also, today showed more than ever that it is soooooo much more than one player. I never want to see Simmons being blamed again. Our team and organization as a whole have so many damn flaws.

all it has shown is that once you are in the Big Dance, anything can happen.....ask Michigan State, and the rest of the top seeds who have lost.....

Midway through SEC play we were in 1st and playing pretty decent basketball. It all fell to shite Alabama game. Then I just didn't want to talk about it because it is not fun to pile it on. I've always known Johnny had flaws, but it has been covered up with talent and we were competitive. Then our talent didn't pan out, and it snowballed. I'm over it now and want a good coach. Something we haven't had in far far too long

I'll ride for Underwood!

I can't stand to even think about how depressing next year is going to be if we keep Johnny. It will be a historic drop in season ticket sales. No one will go to games. And those that do go will boo our team and coach out of the building almost every night. And the team and coach will probably deserve it.

We need Joe Alleva to be a fricking man for the first time in his life and pull the fricking trigger and right the fricking ship.
