I just want to see if I'm getting this correctly.

We have a parade for the guy who's wholly responsible for this mess due to extreme lack of judgment, so that we can have the potential to make a tourney run; and then the program is back in the shitter for years after sanctions, and then Wade leaves us in the dirt so he's not forever associated with cheating if he's even allowed to stay here or not given a show-cause?

Smalls, maybe you should make this the official thread to consolidate the other threads which have different march times, or start a new official protest thread. Of course, there can always be 2 protests if there is enough interest from students/fans.

Both need to be consolidated. One needs to be stickied and this needs to absolutely fricking happen. I will leave work to come support.

I was going to, but don't want to piss off the other posters. You see how different times and whatnot is already throwing everything off.

I don't know why I wouldn't be.

I can see the argument that they could have just let him still coach because we're screwed anyway.

But the dude f'd up, it's plain as day. How do you say that shite over the phone?

I'd start the thread, but I think it would be received better if someone who was a historical basketball supporter started it. Plus, I live in South Carolina so it's not like I'll be there.

As one of the originators, I think its fine to do a protest that starts at 230 with a march that begins at 6 to accommodate the working folks

Beat down Alleva and F Kings door

Put a chain around Alleva's rear bumper and chain it to the Oak tree by his parking spot. Sure, he may see it and un-hook it, BUT he won't know that we cut his brake lines!!

That's a little aggressive, I'd propose a more measured response like the classic banana in the tailpipe.

You can't talk about a federal case in which you've been subpoenaed. If WW talks to Alleva about the phone discussion then Alleva and LSU's FKING will be subpoenaed into the case. Insubordination is being used as an escape goat for Alleva to not pay the bonus and have grounds to fire. If WW gets fired Alleva needs to go too....to many issues and poor hires under this assclowns watch.

what's the rally for? To support a coach who's on tape (twice) talking about offers to players? And then who refused to meet with his boss to explain?

You do realize Wade is almost certainly toast. I'm no fan of Alleva, but this isn't his doing. Wade did this to himself.

It would be stupid to do so before he testifies, but afterwards, he's OK to and he can speak to Alleva and Alexander and the Board rather freely....they already got Wade on the record....plus the FBI does not want Wade or any other coach really at this point, they have Dawkins and the shoe company guys dead to right
