I don’t remember a guy at LSU that was that big and has the athleticism that Tyler Shelvin has. He’s really taken the coaching and gotten better too.

I don't see many reasons why we can't use Stevens like Clemson used Simmons.

He should be everywhere

That is scary when considering how good he was as a true freshman!

Agree he’s perfect for the 4-3. When he hits you he stops you cold, there’s no YAC like Minter, Turner or Beckwith.

He’s so athletic and instinctual that he recovers from some technical Mistakes really well.

I’ve watched a few videos where they show him turning the wrong way out of his backpedal but being able to stick to his man still or immediately close the gap.

He really is special. He will be the best CB in the NFL if he gets his technique down and only a perennial pro bowler if he doesn’t

Jacoby is what the prototypical NFL LB will look like soon. (IF not already) Teams will drool over him next year. 6-1, 230 lbs, runs in the 4.5s, can cover, has good ball skills, but has the strength to crash down and stonenwall running backs and shed blockers to get to the QB. The days of 6-5, 260 lb. monsters that act like slightly smaller versions of defensive tackles that are only ever asked to cover tight ends are over. So-called "tweeners" finally have a major role to play.

Jacoby : 92 tackles, 5 sacks, 9 TFL, 3 ints, 6 passes defended. That's a goddamn Swiss army knife of a defender.

Any coach that is successful is my kind of coach. That goes for Aranda and Pelini. Im sure you cant relate to Arandas quiet, articulate, thoughtful nature though. You've probably never read a book in your life.
