Bain had already switched to #90

Anybody know the reason for his suspension before the Wisky game last season? He seemed to find trouble, to say the least.

maybe so....But we were razor thin at DT last year and he couldn't even sniff the field to give those guys a slight breather. Now whether that was a talent issue or Brick/Chavis stupidity we'll see

I dunno but we gonna have some true freshman playing out there this year. Bet your arse on that! Come on down Gary, Lawrence, Ed Alex and Ed Oliver!

I bet he's upset he and Thomas got suspensions while Jennings was named the game 1 starter.

yes, I'm pretty sure that is the case.....you know, screw it...I've got a shot at playing a significant role on a top 15 team, but you know what....I'll show Miles....I'll just transfer and either sit out a year or go to some low level school.

I swear, some of you.....you are like my 13 year old...just never seem to think.

So he tweets the other day how good it was to be back at practice...

All of a sudden he gone...

It smells like he needed to pass some summer classes to be eligible and did not OR failed a 3rd drug test...

I bet he was "encouraged" to seek a transfer. He was suspended before the Wisky game last year too. Some kids just need a fresh start.

This will be a major weakness going in to the season

LOL

No, it won't. LSU will be six deep at DT....if we lose a couple to injury, then things could start getting interesting with only 4 in the 2 man rotation....but that's a worst case scenario.

Step away from the ledge son...just step away.

Bain could have played both DE and DT, but we never got the production out of him to say we're going to miss much. I hope this lights a fire under Herron and Gilmore.

We may as well have ten DT's for depth. If only one of them has all SEC talent, then you are in trouble. LOL all you want.

actually, of the Bain/Gilmore/Herron bunch, Quay played the most (which may not be saying much, but still). seemed like he was coming on thru spring, so I was at least looking for him to be solidly in the DL rotation this year.

ah well, time to move on.

Bingo. For Bain to already have a suitor to accept his transfer, this tells me the process was probably put in motion by the coaching staff. He was "encouraged" to find a place to start anew.

I'm with you. DL is going to be a major deficiency.

once Beckwith established himself, were we weak in the middle last year?

I'm not worried about the middle, its ends that I'm worried about
