Maybe he was going to have to work extra to get himself into camp shape and didn't want the trouble of running stadiums? Coach Eaux's pedigree is too rich to put up with lazy linemen who don't put the team first. We have no idea what we would have gotten out of Bain. If you can't play for Eaux, I don't want you on the team.

Eh. I'm not going to get my panties in a wad about this one until, God forbid, someone goes down on DL with an injury. Otherwise he would have rarely played anyway.

He's going to have to be a master technician to play and last in the league. Maybe Orgeron, will help him there. I think he looks like a player who's peaked..what you see, is what you get. Don't see much upside.

If Herron and Gilmore step up at DT this year our DT depth is fine, that's four good players at the spot with Thomas being a 5th that has plenty of experience and can keep legs fresh.
With Steele's scheme it seems like one of the bigger inside guys can be moved outside situationally and we can use our depth at secondary/LB to cover up our DE depth issues.
Time will tell, and there are a lot of big "ifs" here, but the sky may not be falling quite yet...........until the next round of August dismissals, arrests, injuries and suspensions sinks in. Then we can start the
