You're 100% correct. There are very few fans, if any, that feel that it wasn't time to let Miles go. I personally believe he should have been let go at the end of the 2015 season, Either after the A&M game or the bowl game.

And I was willing to give Orgeron a chance after he was named the interim head coach. But after the way he handled the pre-game fight before the Florida game, damn near losing the two QB recruits that Miles and Cameron had lined up and all the crap that happened during 2017, before and during the football season, I gave up on o and stopped supporting him and certainly don't support him now.

Ed Orgeron was hired by our cheap arse administration to save money. It was the only reason. As bad of an AD as he is, I don't think even Alleva thought he was up to the job. They hired him to save money while banking on the fact that enough of our dumb arse fan base would be so enamored with the fact that he is a Louisiana native that it wouldn't matter to them what the results on the field are. They would continue to renew their tickets and contribute their money to the school. And if our fanbase consists of enough dumb asses like Tiger Ree and Space Cowboy then our administration may be proven right. There is no other reason or explanation as to why a coach with O's resume would be hired at a school like LSU. I never thought we would have a worse AD than Joe Dean but Alleva has proven me wrong.

And yet we paid Orgeron $2 or $3 million dollars more than any other school was willing to pay him. I think Alleva and others were probably pressured by boosters to hire "one of their own," not unlike the Johnny Jones hire on a much larger scale

“ALMOST 2 years”

I guess I should have been more precise. Let’s try this. Miles has had nothing to do with LSU football in anyway for the last 21 LSU football games.

We can try to excuse last year’s failures under the lack of depth BS all we want, but there is absolutely no good excuse for LSU football to lose to a SBC that they were much more talented than.

It’s time that we forget about a coach gone for 21 football games and put the full responsibility for winning or losing where it belongs.....directly on the shoulders of Coach O.

I have read so many of these damn threads at this exact time of year from 2008-2018 (minus the 2 good Mett/OBJ/Landry/Hill years) that I absolutely have zero faith until I actually see a different product on the field.

This exact type article has occurred every single damn year and we are STILL unsure of who our QB will be. It’s beyond a bad joke at this point.

link? You can't link that because it never happened you retard.

He told the team in the locker room after the Louisville bowl game that they were going after bigger things next season and that they were going to play in the playoffs. As any coach would say to his team. He never made a promise to THE FANs. He doesn't owe the fans shite especially when they are mostly a bunch of douches like you.

what a joke of a fan base

He told the players they would after bowl game. Having goals versus making promises are not the same dipshit. Word leaked out and he didn’t uphold his end now did he? Maybe he should have stfu huh?

Now tell me moron

Did we make playoffs? Yes or no?

Almost 2 years means he has had something to do with the LSU team.

It's funny you would say that. Because you and others, like your buddy Space Clownboy have gone on and on about o not being responsible for anything "football team" related prior to the 2017 calendar year because he was only part of the team since January 2015. And he was only promoted to the recruiting coordinator position in January 2016.

So Miles not being a part of the program means he has had something to do with the LSU team. And o being a coach on the team since January of 2015 means he hasn't had anything to do with the team.

Funny shite Ree, funny shite.

exactly what I am saying you retard. He said it to the players, of course it is their goal. He never said to the fan base that he was "promising" the playoffs in 2017. If he did then link it. Where does he say it is a promise and when did he say that to the fans.

you are one thick headed POS

Are you equating a coach telling his players we are going to win a NC the following season and not winning is equal to a lie? So if a coach before a game says to his players, we are going to go out there and win this game, equates to lying to his players if they lose?

Is Drew Brees a liar when before games, he does his chant with the other players and chants "WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO!!!!?" and the players respond "WIN!!!" and then they repeat that back and forth to each other about 5 times and end with everyone chanting "WIN WIN WIN...!!"

so if they lose that game are they dirty lying pieces of shite?

so stupid and petty
