Can win when he has a significant personnel advantage, unable or unwilling to make adjustments when he doesn't.

The defenders will bash but you hit the nail on the head . Overrated and can’t really outcoach you if you have comparable talent

Wouldn’t that be the winning game plan for every school?

nailed it

Mainieri has to go.

Defenders will cite the CWS last year, but overall he needs to retire and be replaced

After going 13-1 in 2011 Miles followed it up with a 10-2 regular season (Only losing to eventual Nation Champions and one of the best defenses ever since 2000, and Top 10 defense Florida after LSU lost some linebackers) while starting two true freshmen corners AND Shuffling around the O-Line the whole season. Then lost to eventual power house Clemson (who had one the best quarterbacks in their history and one of the best offenses from a personell stand point at the very least this decade.

People need to quit saying MIles yada yada is this coach 2.0 . Miles did a fantastic job while he was here HOWEVER head scratching some of his decisions much less offense was. It was time for him to go but Genuinely we'd be in a much better spot with him still here than we are without him at the moment.

With that being said, quit shitting on our most proven coach on campus. the baseball time has 3 completely new weekend starters, no bull pen and the batting lineup has the injury bug and the guys who step in are young.

Dumb. I must have missed it where Miles was in the CFP in 13 and 15.

Are you going to make this thread every time we lose even though the facts don't back it up

Maineri's last 5 years 2013-2017
3 CWS, 1 Cws runner up, 4 top 10 finishes, 2 SEC championships, 3 SEC tournament championships

Miles' last 5 years 2012-2016
0 top 10 finishes, no championships of any kind

No he isn’t. When did Miles ever throw a player under the bus?

You should check your own failures prior to pointing out others.
Miles didn't have a year in 2016 and his last 5 seasons were '11-'15.

Pretty good comparison.
They were not identical, but both are operating with history and style obsolescence.

Identical in their last 5 seasons by way of NC appearances, which is a rare accomplishment in each of their professions, and very much contrary to OP's cynical slight to both.
