IDK. I hope so but the 2 games at home so far were about the same attendance wise. LOTS of empty seats.....

IF..... the stands are FULL for AUBURN I will be impressed along w frustrated w the fan base.

Tiger Stadium on Sat. night is on a LOT of people's bucket list. Just give your damn ticket up if you have NO intention of going to the game - whatever your reason!

Also, as a caveat I'm going to go ahead and call it:
"FAIR WEATHER FANS." That's what pisses me off.

Forever LSU. Support your TEAM! WTF!

There will be legitimate excuses but by and large there is NO excuse for the abysmal attentdance.

Tiger Stadium is the #1 venue in ALL of college football.
Let that sink in for you ticket holders that don't bother to go the game or try and sell/give up your ticket. PATHETIC is the only word that comes to mind.

aren't even checking anyways

True they're not. I gave my bracelet to a friend and just walked in without one.went straight to my seat. I've got to say, typing that it made me realize that, for all of the entrance wristbands I've given away in my life, this is the first time I've said that about a freaking vaccine!

The attendance requirement had little to do with Tiger stadium not being full for Central Michigan. Even if their was no attendance policy, the stadium would not have been full for Central Michigan when you factor in our recent play, the weather, the hurricane, and the fact that you cannot get a hotel room in Baton Rouge. So please stop it because you know this!!

You are the one that’s missing out. LSU and no one on this board cares if you watch the game or not.

I do commend you for at least posting data. You did show that there are viruses that have a higher mortality rate than the current pandemic. You are just wrong when you say “this virus is no different”. I took the time to add up the world wide death toll for each of those viruses. The total for two of those viruses was less than 10 and the combined total of all that have a higher mortality rate than the current pandemic is under 2,000. In the US alone we have more than the combined total of those viruses dying on a daily basis. So, let’s round up and say the combined deaths worldwide for every virus in your graph is 2,000. The current estimated world wide deaths of this pandemic is 4,550,000. So those are just facts. The next step is explaining what the numbers mean. Why did the other viruses cause less deaths? Why has this virus cause many more deaths? There is a scientific answer to that and it’s not “people die everyday from something” or “if it’s your time, it’s your time”.

No, why don't you do your freakin' research instead. I've spent my entire career in healthcare. I've done my research. I live it, work it, and put my own health at risk every day for it. No, I'm not going to trust whatever pinhead "experts" you choose to "believe" because they happen to fit your politics or your world view.

The vaccine mainly keeps me from going to the hospital and dying. It does not keep me from catching Covid, being asymptomatic and passing it on to someone else.

But, the vaccine does not protect me 100%. It just greatly increases my odds.
This is exactly what I am talking about. What exactly does all of that garbage mean? What type of mental contortions are people willing to pretzel themselves into in order to justify policy that contradicts itself and is not supported by data? If you can come that conclusion, you are either a sheep or an iealogue, not a thinking rational person.

And shame on the 6 upvotes you got for that BS.

I’ve been vaccinated but I’m no longer attending home games. Ever. The totalitarian Covid mandates have ended my enthusiasm for LSU sports. I’ll watch on TV; save my money, be less aggravated, and not worry about driving home.

What I find interesting is how many on here express the exact same opinion or one very close to your own, yet many people
Completely disregard it.

I get it, it’s an anonymous internet message board, but still I’ve heard a lot of people make this claim in real life too

you couldn’t give away tickets the last couple weeks. The low attendance was not due to a lack of tickets available

yep. And I know a lot of people who feel the exact same way.

People say well you’re vaccinated just show your card and go in. Not the point. I have no desire to have to show my own health records to go to a football game. Just not happening

And the worldwide recovered numbers are 206+ Million (Natural Immunity). I know you Branch Covidians don't believe in such a thing. These are just the facts.

Again, I don't care if your vaccinated just don't try to mandate your BS on me cause you are scared. IF your vaccine works, why do you care what I do with my body?

The vaccinated can spread the virus just as much as the unvaccinated. Again, it's a simple concept. Get the jab if you want it don't if you don't. Just stop trying to mandate to others what they must put into their body.

I'll take my survival rate (98+%) within my age group. My bodily conditions stack up well against this virus that I have already had and survived without hospitalization or this vaccine.

Medical choices should be made by the individual not the government.

Watch a Bama or Ohio State Game. The place is full! We have these season ticket holders who do not give up these tickets to other fans who will show up. They buy these for 2 or 3 games a year. It needs to be addressed. Tickets are sold to be filled. Not for hoarders. Give them up. Ohio State will play Akron this week and they will have 99% actual occupancy. But this current trend has been going own for 10+ years. Even for big games these fans are the 1st fans that leave early. We will never be the big program with this type of fan base.

Truth. But it won’t happen.

The data never justified the move in the first place.
