missed a coworker/friend's wedding because of the game (no regerts). of course, she's currently on her honeymoon, but im being told how pissed she is. her and her husband are both uga fans, yet she scheduled a wedding that began in the 3rd qtr. "Dr. phil, what do I say when she gets back?"

Ask her what it's like to get pounded the same day as her team

So, on her honeymoon, she is getting word back on how pissed she is? Sounds like a real winner

Bet that dude’s getting no sex on the honeymoon.

Ask them if they want to spice up their marriage, and when they look at you funny tell them to STTDB.

I wouldn't say anything and I wouldn't worry about. She'll get over it. I never go to weddings on Saturday's during football season. I don't care how close I am to you.

Obviously, I don't understand the relationship, but it's sort of messed up that you decided (apparently this weekend) to not go to her weeding. Her daddy paid for you (and your boyfriend) to go, but you didn't go because of the game that you've known about for about a year. yeah, so, you're an a-hole.
GO TIGAHS!

she told me at the beginning of the year. told her I would be in BR for the game. (also had a child care issue) I ended up staying here, but still, man. ga/lsu? 4 oclock wedding? c'mon, bro.

Sounds like a coworker and not a friend. Who cares.

Try to reframe it for her. Games this big only come around once every 5-7 years based on historical facts. Statistics show she's likely to have another wedding in 3-5 years. You're just playing the odds

I think i would try barking like a dog when you see her next.
This seems to be a source of endless satisfaction for Georgia fans...

Just tell her you'll go to her next wedding

When did you tell her that you were going to wedding, and when did you bail on wedding?
Did you still send a gift?

Did they get married in a big city? In New Orleans, you have to schedule things over a year out to be sure you get the venues and vendors you want, which obviously is well before the football schedules are released. And you aren't going to know the time until a few weeks before the game.
Of course, this is easily avoided by not scheduling your wedding in fall if it means that much to you.

This is the strangest part of the post. Do you bang her on the side or something? I have no clue who didn't show up to my wedding, and certainly wouldn't be pissed about some random coworker of the opposite sex not showing up.

Pam actually married Roy, and she is pissed that Jim flew to New Zealand for the wedding.

Chicks are like being drunk: the only thing that will make it go away is time. You can’t say anything right.
