[quote]Look, I'd take a victory over Bama any kind of way possible. But the fact that Auburn ran for 296 yards against their "rival" and and averaged 5.7 ypc showed that they were no joke. They were lucky as hell, but explosive too. For comparison, LSU hasn't run for 296 yards against Bama in the last three games combined with Jeremy Hill and Leonard Fournette in multiple games.[/quote

 I have no intelligent response so I do this so you know I'm smarter than you! :rotflmao:

Haha...do you wish that on everyone that doesn't want to see their team start out with deficits of 10-0, 17-0 and 24-0 before scoring a point?

"and where did clemson and miami end up ranked? the ACC is weak. its not the SEC. we will all see how long the love frst lasts."

Did you watch the Florida vs FAU owl game and the Georgia vs Georgia Southern game? I did.

Keep you eye on the Clemson vs coot game today and also watch FSU win the SEC east in Gainesville.

Based on your criteria, name one guy who is better than him.

Jimbo is the best candidate. A current HC with a national championship to his credit. Former OC at LSU, knows La. well. And maybe most of all, knows how to develop a QB. That is pretty much as good as it gets for a resume' to be next head coach at LSU. I remember when they hired Les Miles I was like, really?? I don't feel any concerns with Jimbo.

FSU is in a rebuilding year, average quarterback but will still win ten games. The only team in the SEC right now which could beat them is Alabama.

And may I say LSU beat syracuse by 10, LSU beat Florida by 7. FSU beat syracuse 41-24 in Maguire's first start.

Yeah, I mean, the guy has won an NC as a coordinator and a head coach. He followed a legend and has improved on that legend's winning percentage. And he has coached at LSU before as well as another SEC school. Everything is familiar to him.

Jimbo has his flaws like any coach, but he is a strong candidate. We might be discussing this for nothing because LSU has never hired coaches that anyone was expecting in the past.

All pretty crazy, I had rather have Jimbo, Kelly, Herman, Holgorson, Neal Brown, Chad Morris and several others over Lester.

In fact I rather see FSU hire Clint Trickett before bringing Lester in. Clint can actually run an offense.

The man is 13-11 the last three years in conference. That is Brady Hoke territorys, he was 12-12 in conference when fired.

His title team wasn't challenged at all. There haven't been any dominant ACC teams since Miami was a power.

Except for the years when FSU won a national championship while Miami was dominant.

Clemson is #1 right now, are they dominant?

OP, I have a terrible Truth to reveal to you today. You aren't going to love hearing it, but, here it is:

Coach Miles's methods have finally failed. It took years to happen, but his poorly-coached teams have finally trended down to the level that you've seen for the past three losses.

ANY young talented and intelligent coach who is willing to spend the vast majority of his waking hours at the facility working to make LSU football outstanding in every way WILL PROVE to be an improvement over what you have now. That's the truth.

Typical. That's how these people roll. They always have taken any Miles criticism as a vicious personal attack on themselves.

Here's some bad news for you:

Coach Miles's poorly-coached football teams will no longer be tolerated at LSU.
