If the production isn't there you DO NOT LEAVE. Dupre tried to rely on his combine numbers and ultimately failed. Stay in school.

I thought staying would have served him better but wasn't my call.

I dont care about Dupre but I think it's important to form a narrative that guys should stay and around, earn their degree, and maximize production at the college level. Some family members need money "RIGHT NOW" (operaton, house foreclosure, etc). But way too many people jump ship becaus their cousin wants to open a bar downtown. frick them, do right by you.

How so? NFL draft is all about your ability and how it projects to the league, not about what numbers you put up in college. Unless Canada is some WR guru that would drastically change how Dupre catches and runs routes, whatever elevated numbers he would put up next year wouldn't make him a better candidate to be drafted
