LSU eats it own more then any school in the conference.
Or it's just instilling a certain degree of personal responsibility and accountability. It's not like these kids are shocked that the school tests.

Believe it or not, those grades count to. If Robinson failed some classes in the spring and it resulted in him not having enough hours or high enough GPA for the year he would have to sit out the whole year, ala Jordan Allen and Taj Jones two years ago. Summer intersession courses can be factored into your Spring grades, hence why it's possible he did miss some football practices bc he had to take intersession classes (which are 3 1/2 hours, 6 days a week (per class), for 3 weeks) to get the required hours\gpa needed. Him missing practices could have resulted in him playing with the 2's in practice and being in Miles dog house. This is a very plausible and highly likely story, especially since we have known he has had grade issues since he got here (with the NCAA clearinghouse in the beginning of his freshman year) and it was reported during the Spring he was having grade issues.

Ok Robinson isn't playing but I haven't seen anything of substance on why Malachi isn't making the trip.

I'm tired of walking on eggshells for bullshite rules. Fighting...smoking weed...

Robinson better get his shite together or he's going to go the same way Mathieu did.

He's been battling injuries for a few weeks now.

The hamstring issue has been all camp, really. But I've heard ankle sprain today as well. I don't know why that would stop him from making the trip, though...

Hopefully Robinson only sits for one game.

if its honestly just because of weed than Im pissed. and not at Robinson.
you dont have to test players for it, why the frick do we, I could honestly give a shite if a player smokes weed. hell, I actually prefer it; at least then theyll just sit home at night and watch adventure time instead of going out and getting in a fight.

Some people have morals and wont sacrifice them just to win a football game.

The grades angle seems more likely. He had problems with grades in the spring and had to do more work this summer to straighten them out and missed some practices. Les Miles is just punishing him for bad grades and he will most likely play.
Im not disagreeing with any of this. But I know 100% that he is eligible and has no more issues with his grades. If Les wants to punish him for whatever reason thats something different.

A minor hamstring tweak would absolutely not keep him from making the trip for his first college football game. Gotta be more to that

Some do both. #JJ9

I'm not saying that's the reason. I'm just stating that it's plausible. No one had said anything about drugs until some dumb arse drops in and says "Ohhh he is in trouble bc of what speedy noil likes to do"
and now all these random frickers who haven't mentioned anything are like "oh yeah definitely drugs, I heard about this weeks ago!!"

That said, I agree it's weird he wouldn't travel.

If pot was legal would your opinion change? Like, say, with alcohol?
