To me, they deserve all the credit in the world and are just as deserving of this championship as everyone. The long TD vs Auburn for Dillon to cut the lead to 2 last year and the 4th and 7 reception with 2 min left in the same game by Sullivan when it’s probably a loss otherwise were to me just as important as anything we did this year. Those type of plays set the tone for what was to come and I’m glad they get to celebrate and enjoy the success and hung around to do so when we sometimes see guys give up or quit when things don’t quite go their way. Two guys that stuck around when they could’ve easily gotten down and out. But yet I always saw Sullivan blocking like a monster out wide and Dillon coming in running routes when called. Happy for those dudes!

Love both of those guys. They played a heck of a role for us these past few years. Wish them all the success in the world.

Sullivan will be a gem somewhere as a tight-end. Once they see his athleticism and how he can block downfield he’ll be coached up.

I can see Dillon catching on as a special teamer or become a gadget player.

And Dillon will be in the East-West Shrine Bowl.

Hope they both get NFL shots.

Dillon was low key the most improved player thisnyear

Last year he was an athlete who could barely catch.

He made a great play against Auburn but he was very inconsistent.

This year he’s a real WR and I hope someone gives him a look.

He’ll get a look just because of how fast he is. If he can get with a good trainer and get his hands right, he’ll catch on somewhere.

Joe said he knew he could play in this league after that Auburn game. That Dillon catch and run was a great play.

I would’ve loved to see Sullivan catch a huge TD at some point this year cuz he had definitely earned it.

I was disappointed Sullivan didn't play more of a role this year but I understand based on the other talent we had on the team, but I fully expect him to shine in the Senior Bowl and make an NFL roster. Dude has all the measurables to be a good player in the league. Can't teach size.

ETA: Forgot to point out that even though he wasn't getting many touches, Sullivan was always one of the first to get to his teammates when he scored and celebrate with them. Dude blocked his arse off too.

If Moss hadn't exploded onto the scene or had gotten hurt, Sullivan would have gotten a lot more work this year. I think he has the talent and size to make a roster as a TE/WR. He has a very high ceiling because he can create mismatches against small corners and slower linebackers. Sullivan was LSU's second leading receiver in 2017 behind Jets.

With regards to Dillon, if James Wright make a squad after not making a single catch his senior year, I'm sure Dillon can make a splash.

Classy post which is unusual for this board. Nice to see those two get recognized.
