skip only coached 3 seasons when the super regional format was in place, so you're basically talking about 2 coaches.

Skip only coached 2 home games in Super regional play.

They said on the broadcast that the last time a non-conference team swept a super regional on the road was Limburger [sic] lol

Arizona, UCSB and Oklahoma St. all did it earlier in the weekend.

With 2.

The next closest coach has 0.

Mainieri also sets a new record for super regional game losses at home.

With 5.

The next closest coach has 1.

want to know what other record he's set?
he's now led his team to as many Super Regional appearances as every other coach in LSU history combined.

If Florida doesn't beat FSU today, that means 0 sec teams made it to Omaha. I guess by the rationale of the brainiacs on this board we should fire all of the coaches? Good plan guys!

with Skip there is no way in hell Romero doesn't come to the plate with the bases juiced in the 9th

So, you think it was a mistake to pinch run for Romero when he was on first and we were down one (or two?) I don't.

You are so full of shite it isn't even funny. I recall LSU playing Cal State Fullerton in the early 90s. Bret Boone was playing for them, got an autograph from his father Bob Boone in the stands. There were lots of small West Coast teams among others that were very good during Skip's day.
