Have you ever pitched? When you feel pain, you stop and rest. You sure as hell don't throw in a simulated game that means nothing during a post season run. How do you know the pain went away? Don't you think Walker may have still been feeling pain and wanted to grind it out? Do you know pitchers never want to come out the game when they are tired and hurting. It's called knowing how to handle a pitching staff and this us another year of it being poorly managed.

He didn't feel any pain prior to his pitching session after the super regional. Stop lying.

I'm going by what Walker told his coaches. Are you calling him a liar?

If you were the coach (Thank god you're not!) and if a pitcher tells you he's not feeling any pain would you tell him, "Oh, yes you do! I'm not going to let you pitch again!"

You're an idiot.

Read the damn article. I know exactly what happened without having to link the article. He first felt discomfort in the BS simulated game. You never blame PM for anything. You think he never makes mistakes. Well must be very hard on you to sit and watch this regional with Hilliard out. PM knew Walker was hurt and still threw him in the CWS. You will a lot of explaining to do if Hilliard is forced to pitch and he misses next year.

Hilliard left Baton Rouge yesterday with the team for Corvalis the hope was his throwing session in Corvalis today would show the pain had subsided.

It hasn't.

Yea the link isn't the article. Clearly states PM knew he got hurt in the practice game. You can't stand to lose arguments

No, it doesn't. It says he felt discomfort. When Walker threw a bullpen session in Omaha several days later he told the coaches he was okay.

Why do you keep lying about it?

That's true. It's a good thing I'm winning this one.

Stay on topic. Why Walker threw in a practice game? Why not a light bullpen? I bet no pitcher will throw in a simulated game ever again if they are a starter.

I've already covered that above. Walker didn't pitch in the super regional. Dunn doesn't like for pitchers to go almost 3 weeks between starts. He feels they lose their command if they do. He wants them to knock the rust off.

I'll take that bet. How much? $1,000?

What makes the simulated game BS, in your opinion? This is the crux of your argument.

Because he hadn't pitched in over 2 weeks.

Want to make a bet Brady Singer threw a simulated game this week?
