If Mainieri would have celebrated and LSU would have blown the lead the talking point would be how he celebrated instead of worried about finishing off the game.

The complaint was how CPM stopped the players from celebrating.

If you would bother reading instead of talking out of your stupid arse, you would realize that I've said there is a lot to criticize Mainieri on this season. This isn't one of them. Stop showing the world how dumb you really are.

I watched him stare down Mickey after a raucous s celebration years ago, so he hasn't changed and this seems like nitpicking.

You know, a stupid bat flip after a meaningless HR (from a hitter batting .190, no less) last week put some shitty kharma on the team.

I am ready for a change as well, but this is certainly not something I would get all pissy with CPM over.

The game wasn't over. We have blown MANY leads this year.

I watched the HR again and I saw CPM say something to one player and then went back in the dugout. Where do you guys come up with this shite

I just watched a replay of the homerun and the players celebration afterwards.

What you described did NOT happen. Why did you feel compelled to lie about it?

People (like yourself) who consider themselves the smartest person in the room (or on a message board) are usually 99% of the time the dumbest mf'ers on this planet when it comes to common sense.

And in reading your replies and trying to follow what stupid fricking logic you're using to counter everybody else, I'm not that far off in saying that about you.

But you go ahead keep preemptively throwing out your remarks of "you are dumb", "you are stupid", etc. Because afterall, it makes you exempt from all that if you're the first to say it, right pee wee?

True, but forevermore there will be a Rant legend of established fact that Mainieri didn't want his players celebrating a winning homerun by Duplantis in Fayetteville.

That’s what I saw too. I’m not even a PM fan but it sounds like there’s a lot of people on here that would rather bash PM than celebrate a nice victory themselves.
Sad.

Not once didn't I consider myself the smartest person on this board. There are plenty of knowledgeable posters.

Why don't you point out this "stupid fricking logic," so I can at least make a case for my argument?

I apologize if I struck a nerve with you. Sometimes the truth hurts, even though it's difficult to accept.

They were blocking his view of the game. He has the best seat in the ballpark to watch a game from. Oh I forgot. He is supposed to be coaching instead of just watching. My bad.

I watched the last half of the game last night after reading your post. All of the players were out of the dugout and a few were near the plate. Everyone looked as excited as I was.

Just saw this on Twitter

Kendall Rogers
quote:

Worth mentioning that A&M study Asa Lacy will miss the entire Arkansas series after having words with the home plate umpire this past weekend.

Brian Perroni
quote:

Texas A&M starting pitcher Asa Lacy was just ejected in the B5 for arguing a walk. He only gave up 2 hits both both were solo HRs as Alabama leads 2-0

Post the video and let everyone decide for themselves. I’m not telling you what to think I’m just telling you what I saw.

Again, more troubling than mainieri doing whatever he was doing was the response or lack thereof by the players.

You didn’t see Mainieri “Trying to pull players back in the dugout who are celebrating.” He didn’t “pull” anyone.

At about the 19 second mark Mainieri walked up behind one player, tapped him on the back and appeared to say something to him. That player took a couple of steps backwards towards PM who then turned around and walked back to the dugout while the team continued celebrating and waiting for Duplantis to get to them. Mainieri didn’t go “sulking back into the dugout.”

So, again, why did you make crap up about it?

Except he didn’t. The players kept celebrating out of the dugout.

The “complaint” is a lie.
