Hopefully everyone will respect the situation he's in right now no matter what his decision will be. It's not his fault this is the way it all went down. How many people on this board could realistically turn down that kind of money coming out of high school.

that's the thing with me. If Marshall is confident in his abilities, then he should look no further than what college did for Gausman and Nola. Gausman turned down a considerable amount of money as a 6th round pick to come to college and ended up with a 4.3 million dollar payday. Nola went from a 22nd round pick to a 3.3 million dollar bonus. It's up to Marshall, but if he's the real deal, i see no reason why he wouldn't be able to considerably improve upon anything the Astros are offering now after 3 years of coaching under Alan Dunn.

Nola wouldn't have gone as high as Mac, but it was a similar spot as far as MLB teams didn't waste a pick when they knew he wouldn't sign. If college wasn't an issue Nola would have been a 10-15 rd pick, or better.
