Won the Southeastern Conference last year, the best football conference in college football. And beat the "best" team in college football at their house at night on national television in the "game of the century."
And then that team made adjustments and pulled down Les's pants and prison raped him on the biggest stage of all. And he didn't learn a damn thing from it.

Learn from it? frick, I think he's gotten dumber if anything.

Keep spouting off win totals, see how many of those got you a championship.
Let's see, 3 West division Championships[b], 2 SEC [b]Championships, ], 2 National Championship Apperances, and 1 National Championship
Seems pretty good too me. Are there faults...sure, but you guys are ridiculous.
Newsflash: The other teams in our conference have good players too.

and all of that is forgotten by anyone not LSU fans in favor of the embarrassment we received on 1/9
ask Bama which they would rather? I'd imagine they'd say the crystal ball, and not many LSU fans would argue, either.
I didn't realize that I posted winning the SEC is better than the BCSNC.
And I don't care what 'anyone not LSU fans' thinks about the embarassment on 1/9 to be honest. I was there, it was the most miserable sporting event I have ever attended, I don't need somebody on a message board from Huntsville, Alabama with a script A by his name to tell me how bad of a beating LSU received.
The only exception would be if recruits 'forgot' that we pounded A LOT of good teams on the way to the SEC title last year. It doesn't appear that they are jumping ship.

Some fans seem perfectly happy with where we have been. Others want the program to be the best.

Not gonna happen. You dont lose your best reciever to the draft and most of your line and expect to beat a top 10 team on the road
What happened to our "fab five", not the coaches name for them but their own. I think they need to step up to the plate!!

19-2 is good enough for me, as I've seen what a bad coach is, as I have had to watch G.DiNardo, C.Hallman, M.Archer, J.Stovall. Especially when you consider what division of what conference he's won at this clip in. If you want to use the offense's lack of production as the guiding lite on CLM's coaching capabilities, you should have been around when the king of college football, Little Nicky, had to work thru Marcus Randle's yrs. Saban is a god yet his offense struggled too when he had poor QB play.

I still believe something internal went down and is still going on ripping this team apart from the inside. Just looks on O like they don't give a shite. Just a guess.

I don't expect to win every game like some crystal ball obsessed fan with no perspective. Many people's problem is that losing games is one thing, losing them because your coach is too damned stubborn to realize there's a problem that needs to be fixed or some change in coaching needs to be made on offense is another.
It's frustrating that everyone can see the wall crumbling and the coach is sitting there telling us it's not.

I just want to see some forward movement, progressing instead of regressing.

The only positive I see from all of this is that this may be the beginning of the end for Les. I'm not saying anything will happen soon but a few years of producing zero offense and something will get done.

There's only one HC candidate we could hire that has a better track record than Les.....and that ship sailed a long time ago. There is nop other "candidate" that would assure us of being "the best."
And don't think Alabama's HC didn't need breaks in '11 and in '03. He made the most of his breaks and his reputation, but he's only had one undefeated season in his college coaching career.

I agree with all of this. Exactly the same way I feel. I don't expect to win them all but I do expect the other team to beat us not us beat ourselves with ineptness and poor preparation.

I would argue pretty strongly that over the last 8 years you have had the "best" program in college football. I too want the program to be the "best", but I am also not so ridciculous and boneheaded to think that after every game we lose we need to fire everyone and Miles is an idiot. You guys are just pathetic.

Never said a word about replacing Les. Been a supporter since day one, but he is slow as hell to make changes sometimes.

Don't care about breaks. Seeing something that resembles a competent offense would be satisfactory.

It's not just about the UF loss. We have been winning in spite of our offense for awhile now and you know it. Just because you are winning doesn't mean you don't have issues that need to be addressed and Les has not addressed them.

If OBJ doesn't fumble on the long pass, that's atleast 3 points and would be a 10 point swing.
If he doesn't fumble that ball, drop the 3rd down pass on the sidelines, and field 2 or 3 punts inside our own 10 we win that football game.
He had the worst game I've seen from a skill position player not at QB at LSU in a long time.
