I was there. And on this date in 2001, I regained full feeling back in all my limbs

Greatest sponsor: Poulan Weed-Eater

Always remember there was back to back kickoff returns for TDs

Went to the 1996 Indy Bowl vs. Notre Dame. Froze my arse off.

That was 1997, I went to the regular season game against Notre Dame that year.

I was young but we were on vacation in Colorado. My grandpa somehow was able to catch WWL (I believe) in our suburban on top of the mountain where we were staying. He only came out to get a beer

Six of us flew down to New Orleans from Virginia and spent a couple of days there after Xmas. We had no tickets. Game sold out in no time. We went by the stadium early on game day. It was an afternoon kickoff. Lo & behold people were selling them outside the stadium! I think we paid $10 per ticket (maybe 15). Sat about 10 rows up behind LSU bench around the 40. Gave Kevin Faulk a big hug after the game and thanked him for coming to LSU !!!

It was frigid but the Liberty Bowl game in Memphis vs Baylor in 85 was colder. Night game. Glad I had a little bottle of rum to pour in my coke to warm me up ????

We had a cookout at my apartment for that game. Very exciting after the misery of 1989-1994.

I remember 4 years later feeling pretty underwhelmed when LSU paid a ton of money to hire Michigan State's coach who LSU beat pretty soundly in that Independence Bowl. Who knows that that guy is doing these days?

The Michigan State team we beat, was poorly coached. I often wonder what ever happened to him.

I can remember getting tickets and going to the game. It was a great time for 8 year old salt bro and the first winning season that I could actually remember.
