LSU has to win out and finish 10-2 for anything else to matter.

Alabama and Clemson will win out and be #1 and #2 heading into the playoffs.

#3 Notre Dame - has to play FSU, Syracuse, and @ USC. Florida State sucks and that should be an easy win but Syracuse came so close to beating Clemson, and should have, and is still the 19th ranked team in the country that is hungry for another upset shot. Look at it this way, Notre Dame is very likely to go 2-1 or 1-2 to finish the season, based on how they played the last three weeks.

#4 Michigan - wins out beating #8 Ohio State on the road

#5 Georgia - They will lose to Alabama and finish 10-2 and should fall behind LSU being as we beat them easily.

#6 Oklahoma - Don't fall asleep on Oklahoma State, these two teams hate one another and always show up for this one. That could be an upset just waiting to happen. That loss, then an upset of WVU would be perfect scenario

#7 West Virginia - Besides having to play Oklahoma, they also have to go to Oklahoma State. It isn't a stretch to see WVU finish 1-2 but we need them to go

#8 Ohio State - Almost lost to Nebraska, has no defense, and will get blown out by Michigan.

#9 LSU - If they win out, and we get some of these very likely scenarios where the teams above them lose, LSU could easily sneak into the Top 4.

Don't forget that we are still the only team in the nation to beat 3 Top-10 teams and also #22 ranked team. We were the highest ranked one loss team and are now the highest ranked two loss team.

Also, 2007... anything can happen

Repeat after me: no it's not.

Furthermore, say we get a 4 seed. Do you really want to get destroyed by Bama again, except this time Saban has a month to prepare?!

No. No thank you. This team doesn't have the offense to compete in the playoff.

The problem with this is that other two loss teams will be “conference champs”. It’s not happening. They aren’t putting LSU in the playoffs with Bama.

Nobody wants to see Bama shred LSU again. Plus, it’s just not going to happen.

Our offense is not good

Would rather go to a NY6 bowl and have a chance at 11 wins then go to the playoffs and get skullfricked by bama again.

If we lose 29-0 in our home stadium, why would we want to play Bama again at a neutral site?

Anyone else feel like we’ve seen this same thread every year after the annual Alabama loss? I mean, optimism is great, but where is the reality on this board?

not to mention that the committee would likely take ANY other 2 loss team over LSU, (or even UCF) after what happened Saturday.

Because we want a second opportunity to score zero points and be embarrassed by Alabama?

No, thanks. A bowl other than Outback or Heinecke will be fine with me.
