you some of you idiots dont realize, is that if things dont change, those wins will eventually become losses more times than not.

yes, they were wins this year, but if handled the same, they will be losses.

just dont come crying to me when that happens.

comparing Appy to Mich, as you would Tenn to LSU shows you have little idea about how truly close most of these teams are to one another.

follow the thread, it wasn't my comparison.

Do you debate that the SEC West and SEC are the toughest top to bottom division/confernce in the country?

Sure they are.

but why was every other team able to blowout Tenn and Ole Miss, yet LSU nearly lost to both?

nature of the competition? come the frick on

You're the one that is full of shite. No one in their right mind would say LSU was a national championship caliber team this year.

28-11 Overall, 14-9 SEC
2008 8-5 (3-5)- (3rd SEC West)Peach Bowl - UNR
2009 9-4 (5-3)- (2nd SEC West) Capital One Bowl-#17
2010 11-2 (6-2)- (Tied 2nd SEC West)Cotton Bowl - #8
Tell me what you see.
3 nationally publicized coaching blunders

2008 c-
2009 c
2010 b+

Overall I'll give him a C. Would be a little higher with out some of the blunders. A passing grade but not what I would be happy with for an A student.

Umm, it DOES go both ways. Under Les Miles, LSU wins, or almost wins against Alabama every year.

See how that works?

which makes it 10x's more disappointing that Ole Miss and ARK gives us fits.

wouldnt you agree?

thats my whole point. Thanks for playing

I see 14-10 in the SEC over a 3 year period, not 14-9.

When?

were you in a coma for 08 and 09?

2010 was 2 plays from being the same exact way.

DO you agree that Les's first 3 seasons were much better than his last year?

You dont think there is anything to worry about when comparing those (2) 3 year periods?

No SECCG appearences

no BCS Game

no national titles.

Oh, and what I see from looking at it is a pretty good but not great team. We were elite, fell to good. In 2005, 2006, and 2007 (pre finding out we were playing in the Championship) 2 loss seasons were okay, kind of disappointing. Now they are great to the fanbase.

-does anyone else remember the way you felt during the last 2 mins of the ole miss game 2 years ago??..i know i do...and just in case i forgot, fricking les miles reminded me this year(at home) against tenn...the man has repeatedly f-d up, and rep. gotten lucky...he very easily could/should be 8-5 this season...

would all of these people still be supporting him the same way if he was? i know you wouldnt/shouldnt have the same 11-2 argument...

Every single one of these collegiate coaches has led a team to a season with one or less losses except for one. The first one. That leaves off a lot of elite coaches. And I didn’t even include NCAA Div 1 – FCS or 1-AA or whatever they call it these days.

4 out of 6 11 win seasons
4 out of 6 Top 8 national finishes
5-1 bowl record
2nd only to Fla in SEC wins since 2005
#5 winning percentage for BCS schools since 05

That's what I see, but go ahead and cherry pick if that floats your boat.

You are going to try and engage me in discussion, but all you are going to say is "boring"?

I understand you have no rebuttal, but next time don't even respond to me because i will just embarrass you.

I appreciate a good LSU homer, but shite some of the things you idiots think and say are ridiculous when seen through the eyes of a realist.

No we weren't.

if the fake FG bounces an inch further back.......

it could have been another ugly season.

in your eyes, should UNC or Tenn have even been close? Why are those teams even playing competitive ball against us?
I could think of a few instances where Auburn should/could have lost, and here they sit with the crystal ball (for now)

i feel you, and you can say that about most teams.

In LSU's instance, it is more of a trend though. Not to mention that they did in fact lose 2 games.

and had Les Miles put the team in position to defeat Tenn, and not play soft and let UNC come back in game 1, I wouldnt be concerned at all.

It's not because they "almost lost". It's how they almost lost that has to be a concern.

"how" we lost to Ole Miss with the clock mismanagement.

How, vs FL and Bama in 2009, we played not to lose, rather than trying to go all out and win the game. I don't thnk he put the kids in position to win those games, when we very well could of. I dont care how good those teams were last year. I fully believe LSU had a chance to win both of those games, even despite the horrible game plans

how we let ARK beat us in 2008.

My biggest thing, put the kids in position to win. if they don't win, i can live with that. If they lose, then we have a problem. and im not saying it will be a problem going forward. Hopefully he learned from his mistakes, because outside of his in-game coaching, i dont have many problems with the guy
