LSU QB J.B. on playing at Aub - "Obviously, their D-line is one of the best units in the country. I’m excited to go against them and see how we stack up against them."

Advocate reporter - "I know you won 31-0, but a lot of guys seem frustrated. Do you think it was a missed opportunity?"

Joe - "I wouldn’t say it was a missed opportunity. I think it’s an opportunity to get better. I’m excited and confident going into this week because of the experience we had Saturday, and how we can learn from it and grow."

Advocate reporter - "You talked about how midway through camp you were vocal with your team. Is this a week where a quarterback has to be vocal to turn the page?"

Joe - "I would say it’s going to be important that I portray confidence in the game plan and confidence in my teammates this week so we have confidence going into Saturday. If we go in timid and soft, we’re going to get rolled in, Auburn Stadium? What’s it called?"

LSU's QB will be a legend when he leaves campus. "If we go in timid and soft", we're not men!

He is right. We have to steel the show right off the bat. Let it fly and be in the QB's face all day. He cannot get comfortable. He has had a year in the SEC already. JB is going to get the brooke trout look when he walks into JHS... but I like our special teams in this one. Flipping the field will be huge. Auburn just replaced their punter this week. If we can keep Auburn pinned and on their side of the field and make no mistakes and rush for at least 100 yards we will win.

Cole Tracy should have an opportunity to make himself a household name and LSU folk hero this weekend...I fully expect a close defensive battle, with our kicker sealing the win late.

I absolutely love his confidence. Its like he doesn't give a single frick about the qb controversies we have had here for the better part of a decade. I feel like a bunch of these guys (Jennings, Harris) let the moment/pressure get to them.

Burrow seems to be just cocky enough to thrive on it.

His mindset is for LSU players to be tough, come out fighting! Get their blood boiling. Hell is coming!

Aranda is the only reason I believe the game will be close. I have no faith that Granpa E will have an imaginative enough offense to beat Auburn in their house.

Y'all realize Washington got back in the game by slinging the pigskin down the field right?

There was nothing special to their offense. Browning ran a few times when there was nothing there.

Otherwise they played balanced while taking some shots that they came up with.

Quit acting like this AU team has looked GOD LIKE.

Our defense is light years better than UW. Our WR's are more talented albeit unproven. If NB can give us a little bit of balance with the run game we can move the ball.
