speaking of tickets I was emailed today by LSU still trying to sell FLEX plans.
I got this yesterday...
Dear LSU Football Season Ticket Holder,
As a valued member of the LSU Football family, the LSU Athletic Ticket Office would like to offer you the opportunity to purchase additional individual game tickets for the upcoming LSU Football season. This offer is based on your TAF ranking and available only while inventory lasts. Some highlights of the offer are below:
• Both Alabama and Georgia are available as a single game ticket in select areas of Tiger Stadium. Previously could only be purchased as part of a mini plan.
• Select games include a discount off the individual game price in certain areas.
• This online offer is limited and only available while inventory lasts. Click HERE to purchase your additional tickets now.
• If you have any questions, please contact our office at 225-578-2184.
Got the exact same offer the day before.

sure. but at a certain point you start to alienate your customer. especially when it's easier to watch the game at home. and all of this in an era when college attendance is becoming a major issue.

totally agree.
When a business ANY business abuses the practice, it becomes harassment and will lose you customers.
not sure as to the law in LA, but when it crosses the line they can actually be sued for it ..... although I am sure no one, or almost no one would.

Did you even read my post? I listed examples from other schools IN OUR DIVISION so basically our direct competitors. And their's are substantially lower than what ours are this season. Auburn is a top 10 team and just went to a conference championship game and their's is 5x lower than ours. And they have less seats aka lower supply along with a similar if not higher demand than we currently have which should mean they could charge even more if they wanted to! LSU is out of its god damn mind.

Gray Tiger is not a vested LSU season ticket holder. Watches games from his TV. And there's nothing wrong w that.
Probably an old coach who used his pass to attend games years ago. You can tell by his knee jerk defense when posters direct animosity in that direction.
I gave up 9 tickets this year, 3 were in my name. The owner of 2 that I use to buy texted me last night that he was interested in selling even after I told him I wasn't.
He doesn't expect full price for them. Explained that my wife and I are using the money on a European vacation instead. I'm not trying to make any kind of statement, just seems like there is definitely a trend amongst many long term season ticket holders and their lack of renewal.
