Dunn's been great and is a huge reason for our success but he loves having the guys pump strikes up 0-2/1-2.

Maybe they were not suppose to be strikes?

They've been strikes all season. This isn't really just about that one inning.

They have been strikes all year. Especially to a hitter, who pinched ran, and hasnt even hit all year(pitcher)...you cant throw three straight fastballs to anyone.Especially down the middle.

That was a really bad pitch/pitch selection to that guy in that spot.

True dat. Personally I prefer that the pitchers go 2-0 and 3-1 don't you? More drama that way.

I wonder what's the ratio of strikeouts to hits with 0-2 or 1-2 counts.

The 2 strike thing is generally way overblown on this board but I do question why you call for a fastball and don't let Goody try to get the pinch hitter with his best pitch while he is way ahead in the count and you need a strikeout.

Then you throw 5 sliders to the .150 hitter....including 3-0 and 3-1 pitches...like you aren't going to give him anything to hit, and then try to sneak a fastball in.

It's not really overblown.

Not sure what happened there...but post was supposed to say it's definitely overblown.

thats my complaint about the pitching selection, mostly when it comes to Goody, too many fastballs
