LE , you're exactly right. No one is calling for Miles' head. My god, this board has turned into a call to arms. You either fall on one side or the other apparently. Any, and I mean ANY critique of the team results in a call to arms for these morons who will defend any perceived slight.

Lol. I would bet any sum of money that the next two years will be the worst under miles. A lot of regression, a nega-tiger dream. 2015 will be when we start to pick ourselves up, but our QB position and RB position will be extremely weak, but we may have a good defense if Chavis is around.
Step away from the computer and literally frick your own face.

Some people literally can't handle a hint of negativity, even if it's perceived. I don't have a clue why they are on a message board. You can't say anything without instantly being put into one of two extreme camps.

Scroll up....poster was calling anyone who wasn't disgusted with this team losers
I'm not a huge miles guy, actually not even a marginal fan, drives me nuts1, but usually ends up with result I want
And all I said was last year was final year Trent had....I said it was time for him to go many times last year so not sure how I defended him outside saying let it play out.

I'm putting money on it. I think Bama wins big.
I am not saying UGA will beat Bama, but to the media it is a foregone conclusion. I guess you agree. What will the line be?

Probably Bana -6.5
UGA hasn't shown up for a lot of big games over the years and struggles against a strong defense. Just have a strong feeling Bama wins this one by two scores or more.

I have won some money betting on Bama, and Saban is great, but, I am not sure that Bama beats UGA.

Did I say we lost...or did I say we STRUGGLED. You do realize that one can win and still STRUGGLE against inferior opponents. Do you dispute my characterization that we STRUGGLED to beat a 5-5 Ole Miss team and a sub-.500 Arkansas team?
We just aren't as good as some would like to believe. If anything he has done a masterful job winning 10 games this season.

It's understandable.
The BCS is not just, but it is understandable. It has produced affirmative action for conferences that do not belong in the mix at all. The BCS must extend invites to teams such as Rutgers or Louisville or whoever because of TV money. It is a joke. It cannot be taken seriously. The upcoming playoff looks to change that which leads me to believe that a level field playoff system will not happen. It would be full of SEC teams this year, including a torpid LSU.

It's so easy to draw out the normal "I will always be right!" posters. It's quite easy to get them all antsy.
Just goes to show that there are a number of posters that will do absolutely anything to downplay a successful season. They will argue until they are blue in the face to let us all know that Les Miles will never have another championship season.
Same battle cry since 08. It's funny because he's been winning and he won another championship. (yes, I know those same posters will downplay an SEC championship)
312 would complain that a national championship wouldn't mean anything for Miles because it didn't say Lombardi on it.
BTW, Lester.....all good points. But as for me, I'm not one to blame 100% on coaches. It's the coaches responsibity to get a team prepared and a teams responsibility to make those preparations look like they're supposed to. 50/50.
Bottom line is results after preperation. 10-2 and another Top 5-6 finish.
I'll let the rest of these posters that worship Saban talks amongst themselves. They're so wrapped up with Saban and Saban alone that they'll do what they can to justify their arguments. Yet, Urban did the same thing at Florida and there was no outrage and crying like there is with Saban.
Scorned.

The sad fact is that the BCS gods wiped that win out as though it never occurred. It is completely unjust, but CLM had better beat Saban and appear in the SEC championship next year or he will begin to feel serious heat. God help him if LSU does worse than this year. No excuses. Just win, baby.

Well, I am not defending the BCS, just stating that it's changed the postseason forever. It isn't about making a bowl game, it's about making a BCS game at the minimum and the NC at best. Fans of established programs just don't get all that excited about playing in the Chik Fil A anymore.

You're the one wrapped up with Saban, you talk about him constantly, so stop calling people out for talking about him. And your love for miles is just as pathetic as all these losers on here that cry about Saban

Ok? Then what? Who comes in and takes a job with a program that fires a successful coach and turns around and becomes MORE successful than Miles?
Does that coach continue the amazing recruiting classes? Is that coach good enough to continue double digit wins every year?
How long are you willing to wait to let this coach install new staffs and styles?
Then what of that coach isn't as good and LSU falls out of elite class? How long does it take to get back on their feet?
There's more to think about than just get rid of a coach and replace him with whoever

Don't be a bigger hyperbolic dunce than you typically are.

This is ironic. You're so predictable that you could be an automaton. When LSU plays well and win, you laud Miles. When they play poorly and win, you laud Miles. When they lose, you concoct excuses and laud Miles. Irrespective of the evidence, your response remains the same. That's the hallmark of irrational sycophancy. You are literally incapable of objectively evaluting Miles.

This is risible. Rather than just acknowledging what anyone with two connected nuerons can see - that Bama is a better program than LSU right now and that so long as that remains the case LSU will have difficulty capturing NC's - you try to recaste the issue as some emotional longing to obscure the underlying truth. It's hilarious.
Ultimately, you're content being second best so long as you get to smother your face in the warm bosom of your idol. That's fine. I'm not fine with being second best. I think LSU can be and should be a championship dynasty. I think we should be winning two NC's out of 3, rather than Bama. We have the facilities, money, commitment, and recruiting base to achieve that sort of result. It's not unrealistic. We just need consistently ELITE tactical coaching to reach that echelon. We haven't gotten it. We gotten good coaching, but not great.

Probably isn't 5% that want Miles replaced and you can find that 5% in any fan base (Except Bama, where they worship the coach.)
Criticism of Miles doesn't necessarily mean someone wants him gone. He's probably top five in the nation but it doesn't mean he's perfect.
