Ok, then mr AD, who do you hire to not only keep LSU at this level but to take the next step and become a back to back to back dynasty? Who is capable of doing that and would take that job of Miles were let go?

This. It's all about miles with him, doesn't matter if the team doesn't go anywhere, as long as the record is good. 10-2 man, that's all you can ask for

I think I may stop watching and following LSU football so closely. Its become more of a chore than an enjoyment.

Probably Bana -6.5
UGA hasn't shown up for a lot of big games over the years and struggles against a strong defense. Just have a strong feeling Bama wins this one by two scores or more.
Again, I am not saying you are wrong, but I would not bet on Bama if the line is 7+. UGA can throw the ball.

Agree, nor should they be. Bowl games used to be for the best teams only, but that was another time. Most of them [bowls] should be...eliminated. Here's to a torpid LSU making a statement in the Kiss Your Sister Bowl. What a joke.

We just aren't as good as some would like to believe. If anything he has done a masterful job winning 10 games this season.
With all the injuries to starters, academic suspensions, etc..
I would probably have to agree. Lots of freshmen having to step up.

Here's the thing. There are more than just two results to a season - championship or misery.
I wish we win the NC every year, but I am not miserable if we fall short. We showed very well this year, but fell short twice. It's not all I hoped for, but still a pretty good year.
Just not a great year.
