Ultimately, you're content being second best so long as you get to smother your face in the warm bosom of your idol. That's fine. I'm not fine with being second best. I think LSU can be and should be a championship dynasty. I think we should be winning two NC's out of 3, rather than Bama. We have the facilities, money, commitment, and recruiting base to achieve that sort of result. It's not unrealistic. We just need consistently ELITE tactical coaching to reach that echelon. We haven't gotten it. We gotten good coaching, but not great.

Ok, then mr AD, who do you hire to not only keep LSU at this level but to take the next step and become a back to back to back dynasty? Who is capable of doing that and would take that job of Miles were let go?

This. It's all about miles with him, doesn't matter if the team doesn't go anywhere, as long as the record is good. 10-2 man, that's all you can ask for

I think I may stop watching and following LSU football so closely. Its become more of a chore than an enjoyment.

Because that's what I've said the entire time. That's what I hope for every game.

I am not saying UGA will beat Bama, but to the media it is a foregone conclusion. I guess you agree. What will the line be?

Probably Bana -6.5

UGA hasn't shown up for a lot of big games over the years and struggles against a strong defense. Just have a strong feeling Bama wins this one by two scores or more.

Again, I am not saying you are wrong, but I would not bet on Bama if the line is 7+. UGA can throw the ball.

Agree, nor should they be. Bowl games used to be for the best teams only, but that was another time. Most of them [bowls] should be...eliminated. Here's to a torpid LSU making a statement in the Kiss Your Sister Bowl. What a joke.

Please change the channel when LSU is on. You won't be missed.

I am not sure that Bama beats UGA.

Yet the media is. Again, I would not bet against Bama, but let's not award them the game before they play as many have done.

Well, we will see. It's more a lack of faith in UGA and Murray than it is respect for Bama.

Well, I'm not a fricking pussy, so just because it's hard to watch doesn't mean I'll stop watching. And it doesn't make me miserable, it's just aggravating

I didn't say that, so I don't know why it's directed towards me

Probably describes a goodly number of the posters on this board and I should know.

Well, the odor of what UGA left on the field at S. Carolina still fills the air.

We just aren't as good as some would like to believe. If anything he has done a masterful job winning 10 games this season.

With all the injuries to starters, academic suspensions, etc.. I would probably have to agree. Lots of freshmen having to step up.

Here's the thing. There are more than just two results to a season - championship or misery.

I wish we win the NC every year, but I am not miserable if we fall short. We showed very well this year, but fell short twice. It's not all I hoped for, but still a pretty good year.

Just not a great year.

You quoted someone else's comment and directed it towards me earlier. I said it was hard to watch, not that I was gonna stop following it or caring less. I'm not miserable, stop telling me I am

4 of their wins will/have fired their coach. played 2 ranked SEC teams and lost 1 and should have lost 2.
