BRILLIANT ANALYSIS!

And how the frick do you know that for sure?

Weren't people saying the same thing about Hansbrough?

I think he would have gotten his averages, but we beat OU if we play like we did against UNC. Hell, if UNC shoots below 45% (which they have in all their losses), I think we win that game.

While I probably gave LSU much more credit for the talent they had early in the year than most, I don't know that I agree with that.

Trent's strategy on defending the post would IMHO have hurt us pretty good this game with Griffin.

But that 8-seed still burns me. No matter how down the SEC is we won it going away. That earns us a bit more bump than we got even in an off year.

Don't blame Slive, he's re-cused whenever the SEC is discussed.

Blame the Seth Davis's who started talking about how bad the SEC was in February to the point where perception was even worse than reality.

LSU gave UNC the most trouble so far in the tourney. They never deserved to be an 8 seed.

What happened in the tourney really has no bearing on where a team should have been seeded.

What is that ref in your avatar's name???

I hate that guy. He has made so many bad calls against LSU over the years.

LSU should not have went on its late season swoon. Had that not happend, there would not have been any need for lobbying.

Interesting. Connecticut lost its last two games and got a one seed. Don't get me wrong,Connecticut is much, much better than LSU. Yet somehow LSU's losses at the end of the season are deemed 'swooning' and other team's were not.

LSU's 8 seed was a joke and does lead me to believe Slive while isn't "weak" doesn't carry half of the power Roy Kramer did.

Silve couldn't have lobbied for LSU, because he's the SEC Chairman. If your team (Athletic Director) or a team in your conference (Chairman like Silve) is up for debate in the committee, you must leave the room.

Pitt,Oklahoma, and UNC were the WORST match-ups for LSU. I highly doubt LSU would've beat Oklahoma. As for Gonzaga, I think we would've beat them.

You're comparing losing to at HOME to Vanderbilt, @ Auburn, and to Mississippi St to UCONN's losing @ Pitt and then to Syracuse in the BIg East tourney(2 top 15 teams???

No it wasn't. We didn't beat ANYONE noteworthy all year, and lost our only 2 games 1st top 25 teams, 1 game by 30 and the other we lost at home.
