LSU Women Remain #8 In Latest AP Poll!

So, once again, we get snubbed in the final poll. LSU won TEN GAMES IN A ROW, before losing in the SEC tournament championship game, to the #1 ranked team, in a game that went down to the wire...........................but they stay in the same place in the rankings, while UCLA didn't make it to the finals of their tournament, OSU lost in the QUARTERFINALS of their tournament, and they all stay above LSU.

LSU is locked in as a 2 seed regardless of the final poll. The poll means nothing now. The race is about to start for real.

I don’t mind ESPN being biased towards liberals, it pisses me off that the un-informed and unaware public believes the BS that ESPN spews out.

People can’t say that the AP poll wasn’t concerned with the conference tournaments, because they moved several teams up or down this week, including moving UCLA up when, like you said, they didn’t even win their conference tournament. Then they dropped Ohio State who won the Big 10 regular season but didn’t win the tournament.
But the next poll that comes out, they’ll have to move LSU up 8 spots.

They have a n intimidating mystique about them that will serve them well in the tourney. As long as they don’t get too cocky.

It doesn’t necessarily make them better teams, but UCLA and OSU play in tougher conferences. How many ranked teams did LSU beat in that 10 game streak? UCLA lost to now #3 USC to end a 6-game winning streak of their own including 3 ranked opponents. Ohio St did lose to an unranked team for their second loss in a row, but that was on the heels of a 15-game winning streak, including 2 ranked opponents on their way to the conference title.
