disagree, win out first.. then watch Bama beat Georgia... both would have two losses, one shared loss and we have the head to head matchup... sugar bowl is ours if we win out... no way Georgia beats bama...

There's no way in hell UGA is going to the Citrus. They'll still be ranked high enough to make the Peach or Fiesta. Kentucky is likely to be in the Citrus

LSU and Georgia will either be in the Sugar or Peach Bowl. Obviously, is LSU wins out and UGA loses to Bama.

Which means whoever has the first pick in the NY6 bowls between Sugar and Peach will likely decide on who they want. I expect LSU to go to the Sugar since it's been a while since they've been there.

Sugar gets first pick of SEC and Big12. If a good game is what they want, I would expect them to pick Georgia over LSU. A 29-0 loss at home will be fresh on a lot of minds, and Georgia will have a better record.

Doesn't the CFP selection committee assign bowl bids now? I believe the conference head office has some input as well (uh oh).

I think that UGA will get the Sugar Bowl bid. If we win out, we will either go to the Fiesta or Peach. If we lose to either Arkansas or A&M, we will likely be headed back to Tampa for the Outback Bowl.

The sugar bowl takes the 2nd best team in the conference this year. Which that will be Georgia.

Not necessarily.

2nd best team in SEC =/= runner up in the SECCG.

Is "this guy" on the selection committee? I would think not.

I know "a guy" who said that they will. He also is not on the selection committee, but can make a prediction as well.

If LSU wins out and Bama beats UGA, most likely outcome is LSU to Sugar.

LSU will be ranked higher than UGA imo, making LSU automatic to Sugar.

If UGAs game with Bama is close, it’s possible they could be ranked ahead of LSU, which would send UGA to Sugar.

The SEC selection process has been determined. The highest ranked SEC team not in the playoffs automatically goes to the Sugar Bowl. There are no other factors in deciding who will represent the SEC in the Sugar Bowl.

If true, this makes it even less likely that LSU goes to the Sugar Bowl.

The committee clearly shown by putting LSU at 7 that they are the front runner for the Sugar Bowl if we win out.

"HIRE" - don't you just love the abounding intelligence of the posters? BUT - they can analyze, digest and suggest a "scheme" or determine what needs to be done.
This is like the saying about ignorance. Doon't open your mouth (write) and remove all doubt. These folks are shameless.

I don't think this is a given, honestly.

Then who’s in the other bowls? The Rose Bowl will certainly have P-12 champ vs UM/tOSU loser. UCF almost certainly goes to the Fiesta. If LSU goes to the Sugar Bowl, who are the other four teams in the Fiesta, Sugar, and Beach bowls?

To be certain that LSU goes to the Sugar Bowl is to overlook who else goes where. What ya got?

Especially if Georgia keeps it close. Lsu dropped 4 spots after losing by 29 to Bama. Georgia won’t drop much if they keep it close.

Sugar is guaranteed to be the SEC's highest ranking team not in the playoffs. Opponent is guaranteed to be Big 12 champ if it's not in playoffs. If Big 12 champ makes playoffs, then Sugar's still guaranteed to have a Big 12 team.

Rose will be Pac 12 team vs. Big 10 team regardless of playoff teams.

Fiesta & Peach have no official tie-ins. UCF or whoever finishes as highest ranked group of 5 team will be in one of these two bowls.

Lower ranked team between Georgia/LSU will be in Peach or Fiesta if both win out other than Georgia losing SEC Championship.

Kentucky winning out most likely gets them in Peach or Fiesta also.

If Big 12 champ doesn't make playoffs, then their 2nd place team will probably end up in Peach or Fiesta unless they have multiple losses in the next 4 weeks.

Then who do you think will be in those three bowls?

Here’s what I predict:

Fiesta: UCF v WVU
Sugar: UGA v OU
Peach: LSU v tOSU
