I think that "U" is too tight around your head.

You should at least do some research before you get diarreah of the mouth. WVU will not beat LSU in BR. They lose Brown their starting QB and Devine is all but gone too. They will not come into TS in gthe 4th game of the year with a QB making his 4th start and win.

You people never cease to amaze me.

9-3 with losses to UF, Bama, and Auburn without a miles meltdown ala ole miss. MS State scares me more than tenn.

+1 With Crowton operating the unfeared LSU offense with a rushing average <2 yard per rush and the bend, bend, and then break defense your about right.

The point here is to realize how the rest of the country sees us. We have top5 talent and were coached down to 112.

The recruits don't want to play for a joke

National perception is pretty different from the myopia of the tigerdroppings rant.

PSU thought beating LSU was a statement game for them... they really didn't know LSU was pretty meh this year

The recruits are not being scared off as anyone who seriously follows recruiting will probably tell you (if they bother to respond)

There are good reasons to be worried about LSU next year if you are an obsessed LSU fan... but keep in mind your perception and concerns are not typical

9-3 record, maybe 10-2, long shot 11-1 record.......i know many here will not see this as a reality but the defense will be better next year with an improved Dline....i see the offense getting much better, At least '08 without the turnovers...More experienced it will be the same offense being run with a new batch of very skilled guys like Mike Ford, Ware and Hudson; players that fit the mold of what crowton wants to do and the ability to score more frequently thanks to major input from the new coaches, Gonzales and Wilson. Coupled with the Defense giving up even fewer points than last season things should be looking up in Tiger Town having far fewer groing pains to go thru than '08 ......

i will say this...lsu in 2011 can be special...defense will ripen and offense will be very good.....

Fixed it.

That's wonderful!! Why don't you predict the economy?? You could make millions!! And, you don't need to know any more about the subject than you did on THIS post.

Yes. I understand this is a message board.

North Carolina at Atlanta, Ga.....lose/toss up

WTF? Seeing I live in Tar Heel territory, I wholeheartedly disagree. Seriously, I don't even know how you can see this... while UNC returns a ton of players, only on the defensive side of the ball. The offense is simply awful, and they'll be lucky to score more than 14 points. UNC, even in the ACC, is an average team The secondary is almost as pourous as Pitt. LSU will be favored by a touchdown, and should easily cover this game.

quote:

Vanderbilt * at Nashville..........win

The Vandy game will be similar to the UNC game,
LSU wins. Vandy may be an all around better team than UNC. I'm serious.

Mississippi State * Baton Rouge...win at home
Sans Dixson, MSU will struggle early. MSU, in my opinion, will be much better by the end of the season, but LSU has too much talent here, and wins going away in the 4th.

quote:

West Virginia Baton Rouge, La.....lose/toss up

WTFx2? Are you serious? Have you seen WVU play ofer the last 2 years since RR left? Look,
I have a ton of friends in Morgantown, hell my kid is in the band...even they know they're going to get skull dragged. Huge mismatches in many positions. Coach Stewwart, God bless him, but whenWVU is shut down, like Auburn did last year and FSU did in the second half, the other team usually pulls away rather quickly.
Evidently you don't look at the Big East or the ACC ever. WVU is a nice team. Noel Devine is a
great player. They run the spread. They have major disadvantages. Coach Stewart loses a ton defensively, and LSU may be 25 pounds per man
bigger on BOTH sides of the ball. LSU wins by 2 scores, easily.

quote:

Tennessee * Baton Rouge, La.......lose

WTFx3?? Again, this game is more likely a sold win than a loss. UT has athletes, UT loses Cromton, loses a ton of OL and LB experience. Brice Brown will be asked to carry the load early. Again, a new offense, an inexperienced secondary, and a new QB for UT.
Think before you type. LSU by 10.

quote:

Florida * at Gainesville, Fla.....lose

Probable, but UF loses a TON of leadership. We don't know the coaching situation, Meyer has a tumor that is causing him cardio problems, and he's probably going to have to hang it up IMO. I'd say this game is easily a toss up until more is known. UF right now is a complete unknown.

quote:

McNeese St. Baton Rouge, La.......win
Well, imagine that.

quote:

Auburn * at Auburn, Ala...........lose

WTF x4?? Again, based on what? We totally owned them last year, leading 31-3 with one second left in the game. They lose Tate, and both starting OTs. Their secondary could'nt cover
a lawn chair. LSU was pretty much throwing the ball at will, what makes you think it will be any different? At worst, this is a tossup. LSU should be favored.

quote:

Alabama * Baton Rouge, La.........lose

See UNC, WVU, UT, and UF. Again, huge leadership losses, year long target, and a QB who in his biggest game of his life, threw for 58 yards. LSU will be able to stack the line and contain better in 2010. I like our chances. Bama will be a knockdown, drag out game. It will be, as usual, a close game. I'd still give the advantage to Bama because of their running game, but we'll see.

quote:

UL-Monroe Baton Rouge, La.........win

Ask bama how good they can be.

Ole Miss * Baton Rouge, La........win at home
Congrats, you have part of the equation. Lost Snead, McCluster, half the defense. Try to apply it to the rest of your analysis.

quote:

Arkansas * Little Rock, Ark.......lose

Again, Mallett may be going pro, again, LSU has numerous advantages, and again, this is a tough
game every year. Might decide the SEC West, as Arky gets a rebuilding Bama team early next year at home.

quote:

5-7 record, maybe 6-6, long shot 7-5 record.......i know many here will not see this as a reality

Because we have facts to back our opinions, you have a worthless opinion that is boarderline totally ignorant or a stupid flame.

but the defense will struggle next year with the tough sec schedule....

If anything, it will be twice as good against the run, and the pass D will then not be so soft. I'll take Nevis and Downs any day over Alexander, Favorite, and Alem when it comes to stopping the run. LSU's defense will be on the field less, and hence, fresher towards the end of the game. DE is a concern, IMO, but the good outweighs the bad by a ton.

i dont see the offense getting that much better...although experienced it will be the same offense being run with players that dont fit the mold of what crowton wants to do and having to score too many points because lsu defense will go thru growing pains......

Gonzo has 15 years with Urban Meyer. Perhaps you failed to note we hired him.

i will say this...lsu in 2011 can be special...defense will ripen and offense will be very good.....

LSU will be there a lot quicker than that, given the above.

Scary reality is that LSU has not yet hit rock bottom. This coach has sucked the life from the football program. I seriously have come to believe after these last 2 seasons and the debacles we've all witnessed, that he could not coach LSU out of a wet paper bag in a rain storm.

look im pulling for lsu to do well every year...

i dont see play makers on offense to be honest that will "outplay" most of the other sec teams....i mean thank god we got vandy, mcneese and ulm on our schedule or it would be ugly.....

the defense will be different than this year....the offense i dont see the talent being that spcetactualr like in years before....they are not wut lsu had in the past........their are no russells, flynn or maucks, there are no addais, or hesters, there are no hendersons, claytons, bowe's, reed's or lafells out there....maybe randall, maybe...there are no more big huge o linemen anymore at lsu to where their running game was the kickstand to hang the offense on......defensively there are no more harry colemans on the team next year and not even close.....and what they lose like 7 or 8 starters/letterman who played on defense this year?.......i mean lsu will have a growing year....5-7/6-6 maybe , maybe 7-5
