Why, exactly, do you say this?

Because they will have a better resume than USC

They would have two wins better than USC (Bama and Tennessee) and their loss to LSU would be better than USCs loss to Utah

They're in

But there is one thing they’re missing: a conference championship.

This has literally never happened before. So the absolute conviction that it will happen is mystifying.

Someone explain to me how if UGA loses to LSU they get in. In the event PAC 12 champ, TCU, Clemson have one loss. UGAs beat win of the season with their shitty schedule is either a team that just got 60 hung on them or a team that lost to a team that UF beat. I wouldn’t be surprised at all if LSU wins UGA is out.

Sorry, but that does not work for me.

I somehow need to get them to only meet in the NCG.

Okay, thank you.

Thats because no team with two losses has ever won the SEC. You can chose to just look at precedent but have you ever heard anyone on the committee say precedent came into play when selecting the CFP

You ppl need to stop beating up on TCU this year. Are they a complete and dominant team? No. But they have the most wins against opponents who were ranked this year. What has USC done?

This would be incredible. LSU would push TCU's poo in. Would be an amazing semifinal experience.

Unless others get some serious losses quick, LSU will be the 4th seed if they win out. (We may be 5th, but there is a big gap.)

That'll pit them against the OSU-Mich winner. I see TCU as the 2 and GA as the 3. Yes, even if we beat GA.

2007 LSU won the SEC...with 2 losses. And then the Natty.

Sure did. But OSU was #1. Every other power 5 program except Kansas had 2 losses. That was a strange year and we had a lot of great wins to counteract our 2 overtime losses.
This year is different because there will be some undefeated teams and some good 1 loss teams.

That said, I think we get in as a #4 by winning out.

Not according to Georgia…

LSU is an ESPN darling right now. Networks have known they are playing #1 in a few weeks so anything to make the number beside their name smaller the better the viewership will be for that game. Personally, LSU is maybe the 10-12th at best

Winning the SEC is a very long shot. To me that should get BK COY honors but we shall see.

I don't see LSU jumping Georgia if we beat them. We'd probably just get the 4th spot.

1) Ohio St
2) Georgia
3) TCU
4) LSU

georgia is falling out of the top 4 with a loss. IF everyone else wins out
