Looks like when the Tigers close out SEC Week 1 it will be a convincing opening weekend for the SEC!

It will be pretty fricking sad if the SEC goes 14-1 on the opening weekend with LSU being the one...

We are going to be fine. Their biggest strength is the run game and that just happens to be where we will be dominant. It will take a few series for our offense to get going but the talent at the wideout positions will become apparent and we will hit some big throws. Then just when they all turn their backs to cover said wideouts our QB will make them pay with his legs.

Funny they posted that PAC-12 vs SEC in openers are 1 - 6. Guess who that 1 is? Of course we at least had the balls to travel out there.

A common issue across all teams playing this weekend has been offensive line play with respect to a few outliers. Second to the OLine issues there have been a lot of breakdown in defensive coverages. Tackling has been hit or miss. Considering the trend and LSUs previous seasons, amongst other obvious program changes, one would think our first game could have all of the above making an impact. FSU is at a large advantage as they have played a game and cleaned up a lot through film study and adjustments. This certainly makes for a huge matchup for us.

I think we round out the SEC trend the question is what manner do we accomplish the feat? Do we take the path of UGA & Bama or the likes of UF & Arkansas? I’m hoping for the former.

I think our defense will play like champions. Your point makes prefect sense regarding the OL. I don’t know what to think about our DB’s. Hopefully what we have been hearing is true and this will also be a strength of our team. We will have a big fast defense and how excited should we be about the DL. We literally have a freshman All American in a back-up role. I am pumped!!!

Also there are only 14 SEC teams so your math doesn’t equate. So downvote twice!…

Definitely, I’m feeling a lot of nervous excitement. I’m sure the players are feeling something similar. I really like what BK said about mindset for the team. He doesn’t want them too high or low but even and focused. Keep the energy between plays and focus on four quarters. At the same time, I can’t expect the OLine and DBs to not struggle. The matchup is a lot for each group’s for a first outing. Im really hoping for a skull dragging arse beating. The kickoff anticipation is palpable.
