he coaches will claim giving their players exposure to other cultures and to see some places that they have never seen. I call BS on this. When you see photos of any of these players on excursions at bowl games you see them with their headphones on and appearing completely uninterested

Holy shite, you just compared going to tampa for a bowl game vs. a trip overseas to Croatia and Greece.

Seems legit.

Practically every major program does something similar. Iowa took almost the same exact trip last summer; UConn. always takes similar trips; Baylor; S.Car. etc etc etc

Would you also be shocked to find out that the College of ag does this, too? Multiple places all over the world. It's part of the University's initiative to foster learning about other cultures to understand things they do differently and share things we do differently with the possibility of either incorporating things to improve techniques or even abandoning one for the other. All in all, it is probably a good experience. For things in the College of Ag, most students have to pick up their own expenses unless they can find a sponsor.

You have too much time on your hands! Have you heard of private donations and TAF? Try to keep up! The university will not be paying for it.

Recruiting trip, clearly. The best of basketball has come from Croatia, Slovenia and that region of the world.
Yes, get a Croation Point Guard in here so HVL can move to her natural Guard position........

Vacation or not, it’s a great experience for the kids, it’s going to help in recruiting, it’s great marketing for LSU.

Correct on all three points, but there some clowns on here that must live miserable lives and can't see past the end of their nose.

I believe baseball lost money last year but I know they usually turn a small profit.
