re: LSU vs UO, First appetizer: The Nitty then on to Miami vs ya to win the Natty

In 2002 we should of played in the Natty, but got screwed. We ended up #2 for season. In 2007, we were #2 in all rankings and had the leading Heisman Candidate in all rankings up to the end of season. But he got injured with torn ACL. And all his backups also got injured at QB after him. We fell apart because of that. And many different seasons we have had the #1 ranked Offense. Up until that USC loss last year, we held the Nations longest home winning Streak. And we only lost the Natty vs Auburn by a game winning FG as time expired.
To paraphrase: "I have lots of excuses"

You coming here to brag about your win vs UT makes about as much fricking sense as me going over to the Southern Cal board and bragging about beating Oregon.
I am sure one day, you will beat an SEC team when it matters, and it will completely validate your entire stance on the issue, but until then, the only legs you have to stand on in this discussion belong to other SEC teams.
Listen Inbred... I know this is going to go over your head. But just concentrate... Maybe you will grasp this... I will even write in caps so you can see it clearer...I WAS NOT INITIATING BOASTING ABOUT TENN. I WAS SIMPLY RESPONDING TO frickING INBRED SEC KOOL-AID DRINKERS WHO REPEATEDLY CLAIM THAT WE COULD NEVER MATCH UP TO ANY SEC TEAM. Tenn was just one SEC team I was bringing up because it was A)recent, B)not because we won, but because we broke their School record by how badly we won at their house. I THINK THAT FACT GOES OVER YOUR LITTLE HEAD. IT'S NOT THAT WE BEAT TENN THAT IS VERY IMPRESSIVE, ITS HOW MUCH WE BEAT THEM BY. Hell, you barely beat them(if not for a technicality) that very same year. And we beat them more then #1 Bama at the time, same place, same year. And a few years ago we beat Miss St twice. But I never brought them up as that does not impress me. The thing that is impressive is not that we just beat Tenn, but we beat them WORSE then any single frickING TEAM IN HISTORY, even your fellow SEC TEAMS THAT GET TO PLAY THEM EVERY YEAR.
Do you get it now? And with us losing to Auburn in the Natty as time expired by game winning FG, I really do not get how Rantards can even remotely claim that A)we have a joke of a team that could never dream of hanging with a SEC team or B)how our Conference is a joke Conference. To claim so means you really do not follow National College Football much...

Thunder Tiger...I can very easily debate anything about my coach(or yours) that you wish. I know every single word my coach ever said about our program and are very aware of that piece. Think of it this way. As good as we have been the last 3 years(or even much longer really) all the while getting on average 3 star recruits, just imagine if we were to get mostly 4 and 5 star ones...If Coach can do what we have done, with so much less, just imagine what he could do with more... And btw, we are recruiting better. We will get there and win a Natty. Just wait...
Well, I don't see how that's responsive to what you said vs. what your own coach said. Regardless of what the future may hold, he admitted the Ducks were not on the same tier as LSU as of last year, directly contradicting your suggestion to the contrary.

The context he was speaking about was size. Our Coach only recruits for one thing: SPEED. He recruits kids for how fast they can run, and has admitted that for many years now. He suggesting that AU and you guys, he noticed a trend, that your guys were massive in comparison to us. And well, it got him thinking. And if you did not notice, this new recruiting class he recruited like around 6 or so linemen that are 6'6 or so on average...

I triple dog dare you to go to the OT and bump the "Non believers" thread. Do it.
And you are insane. And not in the funnel three beers at once kind of insane.

Is that why you asked me that question? Just to go bump a freakin thread?

I cuss way to much to be of any use in there right now. My roommate would eat those guys for lunch however...although he is humble about it, I am not.
And BTW, this is the Rant. Why do you even bring up Religion in this board and with me here? Explain where you were going with that attempt or logic?

Well that is smart of him...
Does he know that our big D-Linemen are also fast. Does he know that big, strong and fast can go together to creat one Freak?

SEC KOOL-AID DRINKERS
I hate to be the one to break it to you but we are ALL kool-aid drinkers of some form or fashion. We here are LSU and SEC kool-aid drinkers and you are an Oregon Pac-12 kool-aid drinker. No kool-aid drinker is any better than the other.
We don't care to drink your kool-aid, and if you are going to get that pissed off about the fact that we won't, you are in for a miserable existence.
If you want to celebrate your epic wins over losing teams or near misses on the biggest stage I am sure there is a yellow and green Oregon kool-aid stand you can visit to do so. The day I come to yours and start hurling insults and demanding respect, you are more than welcome to tell me to frick off, but until then....

But,hey, you beat Mississippi State.

As TexasTiger pointed out, LSU has size and speed, and I think that was Chip's point about a "different kind" of athlete. Speed without size can't hang with a team that's got both, and I think that was Chip's revelation.

Yes I am sure he knows. And anyone that even remotely follows CFB well knows all this and you are true. However when will the day come when the only isolated Conference- the Conference with ego's the size of your State(Texas)- actually know Jack shite about other Conferences?

Oregon would have finished 4th in the SEC West last year.

You know, I really should be getting paid for this education that you are receiving. Dude, you need to get a clue. The reason why many SEC fans come off as retarded is because they live in a bubble. They think the world revolves around them. They do not find out what goes on outside their bubble. They do not pay attention Nationally with other Conferences in CFB. Thus when they speak of other Conferences they come off as morons. Every single guy on the planet is aware that the SEC right now is a great Conference in CFB. No one on the planet as suggested otherwise. However if you continue to assert that the PAC is a pathetic joke Conference, I am going to remind you like a water pump that you are a ranter. And if you continue to assert that Oregon could never dream to be able to play with "Big boy SEC Football", then I am going to make you look like a fool...

Not entirely sure what you are asking here. Are you talking about the SEC, because it is an ego with teams, talent and a record to back it up. So until a team can bring down the SEC in a National Championship I don't think the SEC will worry about other conferences. This year we didn't have to worry at all about other conferences, teams like Oregon losing, OK State losing and Stanford (notice 2 PAC teams) made it easy on the SEC to come out with another NC.
The SEC is a monster created both by itself and by other conferences. By itself because we heavily recruit the best talent and best coaches. By other conferences because y'all can't find a way to beat the best SEC team any given year.
Your own coach understands that Oregon is not on the same talent level as LSU and Alabama and whichever other SEC team shoots to the top each season. Why can't you come to grips with it?
