#5 & 6 are in the Rose Bowl
#7 & #8 are in the Fiesta Bowl
#9 & #18 are in the Peach Bowl
#10 & 17 are in the Russell Athletic Bowl
#11 & 15 are in the Alamo Bowl
#12 & 16 are in the Sugar Bowl
#13 & 23 are in the Outback Bowl
#14 & 19 are in the Citrus Bowl
Those are the better bowls according to the invites. LSU didnt even get a ranked opponent. Which puts the Texas Bowl down the list with the Holiday Bowl, Military Bowl, Las Vegas Bowl, the Boca Raton Bowl, and the Belk Bowl
And if you go with payout, all of the listed bowls pay out more than the Texas Bowl as well as: Taxslayer Bowl ($1.8 mil more), Cactus Bowl ($1.65 mil more), Holiday Bowl ($375k more), Sun Bowl (330k more), Music City Bowl ($138k more), Pinstripe Bowl (100k more)
Makes you want to were white hats to the game and carry Miles off the field again

Rule of thumb regarding bowl games: Teams that are excited to be there WIN. Teams that are disappointed with the bowl selection because they thought they deserve a better bowl -- LOSE.
