I loved Ben Simmons almost more than anyone. I also hated Quarterman more than almost anyone. However, I'm not allowing either of them to effect my fanhood for the team this season.

I dislike both and I'm very happy our team lacks those personalities at this point.

I won't argue about their personalities. To me, the biggest problem is one warranted that personality and the other did not. I simply cannot continue to blame a season on an all-american who set LSU and sec records as a Freshman.

Anyone in the NOLA area know if Cox carries SECN+? I looked during the Wofford game but couldn't find it. Thanks.

SECN+ isn't a TV channel, it's online streaming through WatchESPN. Just log in there with your Cox credentials to watch.

I have already decided he is my favorite Tiger of all time... And he's only played 1 game. Finally someone took the top spot from Voogd.

You can watch the replay on WatchESPN. Even though the original stream was messed up, the replay looks fine.

They have beaten 1 NAIA school in double OT, another NAIA in an exhibition by not much, and a Division II school in OT.
Well, yeah, but one of those NAIA schools is ranked in the top 10. Oh, and it was double OT for the DII school as well.

but Southern Miss has been pretty good at basketball for a few years
They have been horrible since the 2014-15 season. They have been ineligible for postseason play the past two seasons and have suffered many scholarship losses and players quitting. One game in 2015, they had to finish with only four players available.

This team has a likability last years team didnt. Just watch a few games and you'll fall in love with them. Its gonna be an exciting year :)
Hear, Hear! All I have ever asked of an LSU basketball team is that they play halfway smart and give me all they've got. Last year's team did neither but this year's team looks like they are going to do both.

My main concern is that Blakeney and Sampson need to hit a higher percentage of three's. Epp's, Hayward and Patterson will have to come through if they don't. And don't count out Wayde Sims who has a good looking shot.

I hate how these weekday games are always at 7pm. I'm a student and I have to work on campus fro. like 6-9 most nights.

As opposed to when? You're gonna play during school and work hours? You can't play at 9pm when people have families.
