Yep. I've been accused of being a sunshine pumper, but there wasn't much to get excited about tonight. Derenbecker shows promise, and they seem to be able to hit some threes. But that's about it. The big men are weak and slow. Poor free throw shooting. No one really breaks to the basket. Rice looked faster, stronger, and more organized. Pretty amazing.

Ouch...Johnny Jones and UNT Spanked Rice earlier this year. I wonder how long LSU fans and your AD are going to put up with TJ. Tourney appearances with other coaches players and even 3 COY are all in the past. From what I'm seeing TJ is just riding on the fumes of his past so call accomplishments.

Good Luck Tiger fans!!!

Wait, what? UNT beat Rice by 3. UNT spanked LSU. Get your facts straight before you come in blazing.

Right back at you, sir. LSU has accomplished more in one season than UNT has accomplished in their entire athletic history.

The calls went to Rice. We got out rebounded and couldn't hit free throws. A frustrating loss but a great outing with the family. It was good to see Tiger fans out. Attendance was 3,358.

that had to be the paid attendance number....it sure didn't look like there were that many in the stands. 'twas a good outing though and good showing by LSU fans.

Agreed, it was a good time but no way there were 3,358 people in the building.

Didn't want to start another basketball bash thread, but the day after, honestly how did this team look last night?

Did we just get beat or was it just another abysmal performance as well?
