Game Day is going to LSU for the Clemson game because there is literally no better option. The Week 1 schedule is awful this year. Regardless, that won't have any effect on Game Day going TO Oxford (it might be different if the game were in BR). There isn't a game that week with a more intriguing storyline than LSU @ Ole Miss. And that would be the case even if LSU and Ole Miss are 1-1 going into the game.

That’s what I said in what you quoted. sounds like they’ve already determined they’ll be at the LSU games week 1 and 3.
Lots of early exposure for us. Hope we start off strong because we’ll be the center of CFB universe

I get it but this may be a big mistake having LSU at Ole Miss in a night game. Prime time, yes, but things may get out of control pretty quick. Heavy police presence is warranted.

Will be great for ratings and will be some content on the internet. Fans better bring two chinstraps as well.

The game should always fall on this weekend. Hopefully it changes now that Bama won’t continually be on the schedule.
I also understand that the league probably wanted it out the gates for early ratings boost and just to make sure both teams were good vs waiting 7-8 games into the schedule.
