Hypothetical question. How many here would double down the Championship to play one more game for a chance to beat Ohio State's arse? Not to mention we would get to watch Team Goat one more time. Hypothetically, I would say go for it!!!

Why would we double down? Also I think we destroy anyone we play.

They did not earn their right to play for the national championship. We won all 15 contests this season. They won 13 and lost 1.

Why play what ifs?

This team would suit up tomorrow if they could.

Anytime, anywhere, anyone.

You have to win the semis, to make the finals. It’s been this way in tournaments, from the beginning of time.

I would have preferred to play OSU and Clemson in the playoffs simply so 2019 tigers could say they beat a top team from 4/5 major conferences.

Thanks but no thanks! God, this desire for an ENDLESS football season has gotten out of hand. The proposal to have 8 playoff teams is an absolute JOKE! I think it was pretty universally thought that even 4 watered down the playoffs this year. That is why everyone was praying to be #1 ranked so that they got to play OU as the first game. Football fans knew it, the football teams knew it, and the Las Vegas boys knew it hence the 14 point spread for the LSU-OU game.

Hypothetical question:

What if there were fewer wild-arse, crazy threads on the Rant?

LSU defeated 7 top 10 teams by an average of 19.6 points per game so Ohio state is in the top 10 loss to a team that we beat by 17 that we could have beaten by 24 so it's reasonable to make an educated calculation that on a neutral field would beat Ohio state by approximately 20 points
