I would think 10 PM CDT is latest they would start tonight. It will be tough if one of the first two games is longer than ~3 hours

With everything so behind schedule I think they would make an exception to that.

tamu/uf scheduled for 3:30 est? Even assuming the games only take 3 hrs. with a 30 min intermission we're looking at 10pm or so?

They need to get 3 games in today, even if that means we play past midnight.

A&M plays slower than us, so we need either that game or Tennesee-Vandy to be a run rule to make our start time fairly reasonable. Both finishing as run rules would be excellent.

ETA: I think 2 games today would still give them some options to finish without having to go to single elim or 7 innings, but 3 games sets it up pretty nicely.

Just got the official SEC email: Florida-Texas A&M will start at 2:30. LSU still has to wait on Tennessee-Vanderbilt, which is the next game after that.

Assuming no run rules, and 3 hour games, 10pm is as early as we could start

If I was a religious man, I would think God doesn't want this game to be played...

I presume you are referring to Regions Field in downtown Birmingham where the AA Barons play that opened in 2013?
Yep, it's been a long time since I've been there.

Rickwood Field could be under consideration. For years the Barons played a game there each year in "throw back" gear. Covid wrecked it in '20 and they haven't resumed it.
I actually went the first year they started it back up!

Still like another poster mentioned this has been in our forecast since last week. I honestly don't know why they couldn't have had dual games with one in Hoover and one elsewhere in metro Birmingham.
Wit chu. The way my radar looks right now they may have to.

3 hour baseball games are quick games. I would assume both games will go over that. Earliest start time is 10:30 IMO. The question is what is the latest they will let Kentucky and LSU play? As long as the game get started before midnight?

The good news is I think the bad weather is finally over with.

The 3 games LSU played A&M were 4hr 5min, 4hr 52 min and 3hr 57 min. No chance that FL A&M game goes 3 hours
