but I fail to see how this hurts LSU.

LSU would play better during the day AT Bama. Do you think a NIGHT game AT TS would be a better advantadge for LSU??

I don't think this will be an advantage for Bama. Their fans won't be able to handle the all-day mega party, will not pace themselves properly, and will not make it through the game

This times a million!

LSU plays better at night! Even on the road!!!

The crowd would be more riled up at TS for a night game. Why would you say LSU would play better during the day at B-D?

Anyone who thinks this is about Bama wanting a day game and having a more forceful presence with CBS is literally retarded. And being able to google ockhams razor doesn't make you any less retarded

Day, night, won't make any difference at all. Bama has the homefield advantage, period. But you can bet your asses the LSU Tigers will be there to play ball and kick Gump arse!

I love how there were all those people on this board that argued to death how the contract was solid, that "its the way things are", "get over it, it won't change", "no changes can be made until 2030-something", how people were crazy to think that CBS would change or lobby for a later game than 230, that it wasn't possible to even do it, that people watch the CBS Sat night line-up over LSU games/ratings-wise.....

Completely clueless.

Everything can change when negotiating. Contracts aren't set in stone, and people wanting LSU night games should continue to press for them.

You're forgetting the most important thing...CBS has to want to put a game in primetime. You can lobby all you want, but a tv station couldn't care less, unless they think the ratings for a game will beat out whatever episode of NCIS they have scheduled. Something like, let's say...maybe the game of the decade. Most of the people in the other 48 states would rather watch something else other than LSU football and whoever we play.

I'm pumped its a night game... More time to party. The only thing I'm worried about is probably not remembering much of the game.

btw why do people assume that because its a night game LSU isn't going to play as well.

The stadium is going to be just as loud as it would be during the day.

Doesn't LSU have a history of playing better in night games?

I know they do at home but couldn't that also be for away games as well.

you people are overreacting, it makes perfect sense that CBS wants this in primetime this isn't some conspiracy to make bama win.

Its typical business decision, we will make more money if the game is at 7pm
