Watching old games and this one came to mind.

What a good game.. The last sighting of Andrew Hatch, Jarrett Lee at his best (minus the atrocious pick six), Charles Scott, etc..

Anyone went to this game and can share any stories?

Georgia Southern can’t come soon enough...

Any win at that shitbox of a stadium is a good one. Even that 2012 near disaster.

I miss tubberville being at auburn. Those games in the early and mid 2000s were my favorite and nick saban messed that up lol.

that 2012 game at jordan hare was extremely ugly lol. Aub went 3-9 that year too. 2008 I remember Lee threw a terrible pick 6 right before half then came out and did much better

the Wizard loved him some screen passes.

which is saying something, cuz Jimbo would dial up a bubble or a slip in a heartbeat himself.

That was jimbo Fisher. The wizard didn’t come here until 2007.

No shite. He’s talking about the 08 game. You know, before the season went to shite until the Peach Bowl.

I remember thinking Auburn’s new spread offense might be legit after that game as it was early in the season, but they were terrible that year and Tuperville got fired.
I also had thought J Lee might be very good.

I was at this game. Freshman year at LSU.

Most vivid memory I have of this game is when the Auburn eagle circled the stadium. They do it as part of their pregame.

The eagle dipped close to LSU section and some drunk baws threw cups of ice at it, almost hitting it.

Stadium went ballistic. Good times.

I was at the game. Remember leaving the LSU student section and we were all yelling that it’s the start of a dynasty! Coming off a Natty, ranked #7, thought we were hot shite.

Then we lost 5 games.

The Andrew Hatch experiment is still one of the biggest head scratchers in recent memory

Yeah, my out-of-shape buddy and our group climbed to the nosebleed seats in an inebriated state, and almost immediately upon arrival he proceeded to spray vomit on a couple Auburn fans sitting in the row below us. We bolted and left him there to deal with that.

That was one of those games that seemed HUGE at the time. We were coming off a national title, ranked in the top 10 and won a road game against a then-top 10 team and I was convinced we had our QB of the future. Of course both teams wound up unranked with losing conference records.

That poor guy. The DB could be 40 yds downfield and it was an automatic pick 6.

That was a bad year. If he only knew what he was in for his senior year.

We were at our camp 13 miles down river in Venice for this game and didn’t have cable at the time. My dad was friends with one of the game wardens out there and he boated us out to an oil rig to watch the game with some oil field baws. Had a good time and awesome game but a torrential down pour came after it was over and that boat ride back in the dark in the pouring rain was pretty scary
