I would not depend on a night game with TV money involved. If offered a million dollars for 2:30, they'll take it. Fly in early just in case. This happened to me amy wife about 7 or 8 years ago, maybe 2004?.

I thought that '09 one was at night. I couldn't remember exactly. Just remember the parade grounds were super muddy from rain the night before.

Guaranteed! We didn't have one home SEC contest last year. CBS, as part of picking it up last year, picked up this year's game for prime-time.

On the off chance that LSU and Bama start the season out barely above 500 or something like that, then you might worry.
But I'd say unless hell freezes over, you're safe to assume it's at night.
But it is only an assumption, albeit a safe one.

It's a night game. CBS paid ESPN a bunch of money and guaranteed a night game for exclusive rights of the game in November. (It could be vice versa with the ESPN and CBS)
