What did we hold miles to? 13, 14, 15, and 16 were all 3 losses or more? Did miles go 6-2 in the sec any of those seasons? Asking for a friend. But, you won't answer, except with some troy comment.

I haven't stuttered. I expect 10 wins or more. But to act like miles had 2 or less losses as the standard is a GD joke. He was good early on, and not so much since 2011. But suddenly, we should win a championship. Comical. Can we be good? Yes. Lot of variables, including whether burrow is good.

Orgeron went 9-4. That is the same exact win percentage that Les Miles had during his final 42 games (From the Beginning of 2013-Auburn 2016).

Oh I’m not neutral on O. I still feel like he is not the coach to get this program back to the championship level we all want. I come to that opinion based on his 1-5 record against teams with winning conference records since taking over in 2016 (2-6 with bowl games).


I am actually quite optimistic on this team, however. Joe Burrow is a game changer, a veteran college graduate trained by one of the premier offensive minds in all of college football for three years, at the one position that this program has been missing for the better part of a decade.

I give O full credit for bringing him in.


I’ve said this over and over, but an LSU coach has only lost more than 3 regular season games only three times since 2001.

All of those teams were disasters at QB and mediocre to bad on defense.

How could this season possibly not be considered a failure if this team with this defense and veteran and exceptionally trained QB is added to that list?


I have heard for over a decade that LSU won almost solely on talent that overcame mediocre coaching.

Why can’t this team do the same?


But I won’t even be like that. If LSU goes 10-2 I will give O and his staff 100% credit and be thrilled to do it.

These numbers just go to show you that rankings really don't count much. If you have a team with good depth across the board with a good QB then you have a shot at winning the ball game.

The fact is that LSU doesn't need to recruit 5* after 5* to win big in this league. They simply need to put a great team together, train them and win. With the talent LSU gets every year if the staff doesn't allow the depth to dwindle especially on the LOS and at QB then LSU will be in the playoffs very soon. That's my conclusion.

Just keep up what we're doing and we'll be fine.

Btw genius, I've been to 46 states, and 11 countries. Since you are so cultured, let's discuss where you have been. Surely we have been to the same places.
