So bowl games don't matter much now?
Posted on 7/4/18 at 10:09 pm to Imber
Maybe imber, but my career and company sure isn't. Tell me what you have accomplished in life? I worked hard, I'm pretty proud.

Oh they do...if it is one that matters. If not, the trend is to have anyone that doesn't want to risk injury to sit out. Of course, I'm just lying right. And besides, losing your best players to sitting out shouldn't matter right...we are lsu.

Which LSU players sat out of the ND game?
Still waiting for the answer...

Yep..and throw Clemson's in there too, just to see how useful it is...as fact

So what you are saying is we should cut Les Miles some slack on some of the bowl game losses because they didn't 't matter?

I've never complained about meaningless bowl games. It isn't even your same team playing in most instances.

I don't find bowl games are meaningless personally
Sure its not a national title game but have some damn. pride. Winning a bowl game means a lot in terms of where you finish at the end of the year and carries momentum into recruiting.

Seriously? I know u can't be serious in saying no one sat out. We had many sit out the last two years, one game working out, one not. Lsu should have beaten nd....it was a nice defensive stand, especially by donte Jackson, who is no stranger to those type of plays

I never said that. I'd just like this list of all these high profile players that sat out of the bowl game for LSU in 2017. You can include 2016 if you'd like as well.
Posted on 7/4/18 at 10:19 pm to Tigerbait357
If they meant a lot, your best players would play. Sure, the team that does play gives their all...but that doesn't change the fact it isn't the same regular season team when your so called stars skip the game.

He’s asking you to support your assertion.
Who sat out?
Who sat out?

When you look at those rankings and compare it to the final SEC standings, do these rankings not seem at all useful in determining how a team may perform?
Not an exact correlation obviously, but certainly enough to make it an interesting point of reference.
Compare ACC rankings and results and I’d imagine a similar correlation as well with Clemson certainly very close to the top of that conference and a likely contender for the CFP based on their recent success.
