It may be the first and only time 102,000 Tiger fans stand up and roar as the visitng team takes the field that evening.

My dad is also class of ‘66. Go Army!

Put the mark in the win column now.

I wouldn’t be so sure. Army is notorious giving Power 5 teams all they can handle. It could be a tough game.

perfected the dark art of cut blocking
Oh I hate that. Auburn does that every year vs LSU, and it leads to injuries

The USMA Class of 1966 has received a lot of attention due to its timing with regard to the huge escalation of US involvement in Viet Nam.
Here’s a link to a short read about several of the class members:

I'm hoping they move LSU Salutes to this game.

I will be there. I am taking a few West Point Grads I served with in Afghanistan and Iraq.

Man I wish we played at West Point. I’ve got to see a game there before the pearly gates.

Really looking forward to this game as an Army vet and a Tiger fan.

terrible year to graduate.
an officer, particularly a West Point grad, had a little better setup than an 18 year old hippie drafted off the street

One of if not the prettiest most gorgeous campuses I've ever been to.

^This. Now that would be an historic occurrence, but the way it stands today, we're talking bout just another Tiger Stadium game v an average non-conference opponest.

It would be cool if LSU did some kind of tribute program to this cover from 1931.

I definitely want to be at this game.

It’s about time LSU has a chance to even up their record against Army. That shutout loss 92 years ago was a bitter defeat.
